This. An expensive L&A dragging on for FAR TOO LONG |
| The show had some potential and some good early episodes but petered out in the end. |
Completely agree. Also, as a native of NY, there were some flaming geography oddities at the end that annoyed the heck out of me. |
Haley's accent didn't bother me (fantastic actress), but the dead girl's and NK's did. The former was clear not Latina (I learned from this thread she's Italian), and NK's accent was weird and slipped a lot too. |
| Talented cast but dreadful writing. Airless and no character development at all. I found it just weird and off-putting. The only character I liked was the son. |
Good point. He lived the vast majority of his life healing people. And the death of his sister was an accident - he showed no remorse, true - but he didn’t kill her. |
Yesss! I used to have a huge crush on Benicio del Toro. DP |
+1 I kept waiting for a big reveal or twist. I guess Grace on the stand was it. |
He had that angry mug the entire series. You would have thought he was a murderer by that face. It was scary to me. I did not find him handsome because of it. |
I really hate her green velvet coat |
He didn't look particularly angry in the sex scene we saw.
|
Her coats were a story unto themselves (so says the costume designer). I thought her wardrobe was great for her role. |
I agree. Definitely not my style, but it made her memorable. I think when you are as prolific and easily recognizable an actress as Kidman, being able to differentiate your look for each role is important. |
Well, he was furious that his wife had not only cheated on him, but then been brutally murdered. I’d have an angry mug too. |
I don’t think there were any sex scenes between Elena and her husband? DP |
