Pride Red beat CCLax 13-2 in Fall 2019.

Beating up on bad B teams does not mean you can beat middle of the pack A teams. There is a huge divide.
Skywalkers would likely lose to CCLax, I'll give them that. That's about it.

Integrity, Hero's White would win by 5-6 goals.

Pride parent here. We played CCLax in NGLL preseason and won 8-6 coming back from 5-2 down. Not our best game, but CCLax can more than hold its own in 27 A league if it wants

Losing to a 1-6-1 A team is not exactly supporting evidence.

Whats the deal with Pride? You guys tie MDU, crush Integrity 13-0, only lose by 4 to M&D, yet you lose to Hero's White, lose by 5 to LBC?

Let's start with at least learning how to reply on a forum first before questioning if a team is competitive or not.

Agreed. What tourneys is NL playing this summer? They don't list schedule on website.

Can any parents provide some perspective here?

A little surprising the 28s aren't playing at some of the others like Live Love lax, Laxin out loud etc.

I think the 27s are doing #laxislife but the club as a whole is still not doing many of the bigger tournaments. Which may lead to a sticking point with some people....

If NL wants to attract higher level of players and work towards becomes a more elite club they need to increase both quanity and quality of tourneys

Agreed. They have historically been weak on the girls side, which may be why they didn't/don't go to the big tournaments. But if the current young crop keep developing they will need to go.

Say what you want about Rebels and MC Elite, but at least they go to the big name tournaments so their girls can face better opposition and actually get seen by college coaches when they hit high school. (BLC doesn't go to as many as the 2 aforementioned but also don't go past MS)

Rebels is currently sitting at 2 teams total 8th grade and younger. Not sure they are a good barometer...

MC Elite was perfect as far as location, talent and potential. Unfortunately the administration has turned off parents and coaches. A shame.

Some of the older players seem really turned off as well. Which says a lot if the players are aware of how bad it is.

I was not aware of Rebels situation but I guess the downturn of these organizations is good for newer organizations? Unfortunately for the girls in the thick of it right now it is unfortunate.
