Damn! The word gorgeous has truly been bastardized . Only someone who has no effing clue what they're talking about, but has convinced themselves they really have pertinent arguments to make would insinuate that what whitherspoon—a wanna-be Martha Stewart , and paltrow —a charlatan with career irrelevance are doing the same thing . WTH

You sound mad. Reese Witherspoon is gorgeous. Odd that it causes such a strong response.

With that pointy witch chin? Pretty she is, but gorgeous she is not.

She’s cute pretty. And really pouring on the “hey y’all”. I liked her much more as an actress than sales person. I’m a bit over her right now.

And nannies taking care of the kids. Is it really hard to remain thin when you have all of that? No, it is not. She's a washed up actress. I can't believe anyone cares about her, let alone enough to buy her Alex Jones tier snake oil.

You are truly one of the more hateful posters on this thread. What’s with the constant references to Alex Jones? We don’t care what your politics are. You sound incredibly envious. Not a good look.

Both peddle overpriced snake oil to gullible saps while pretending to be experts, even though both dropped out of college. Peas in a pod.

So basically if a man says I don’t like X celebrity then that’s a legitimate criticism but any woman who doesn’t like any other woman who some people might find attractive than the only possible explanation is jealousy? How incredibly sexist.

That said, I see the “reading comprehension” weirdo is on here so I will see myself out.

So envious. No matter what, Gwyneth and her no college degree will always be better looking and more successful than you. It's hilarious to see you seethe over something so inconsequential.

DP. I don't dislike her because she's beautiful, I dislike her because she HURTS WOMEN by peddling woo science (successfully!). I have no problem with many many beautiful women, I even regularly defend Kim Kardashian. There are MANY beautiful actresses, but GP inspires a unique amount of disgust, that is not explained by her simply being beautiful and rich as most actresses are.

I always though she was hopelessly plain.

If you are really concerned about women, there are far better ways to advocate and spend your time. This is really low hanging fruit in the grand scheme of things. It comes across as very petty and insincere.

Much like yoga, many of those women’s practices have been around for a long time. TCM in particular utilizes vaginal steaming and sitz baths.

Thin and blonde does not a beautiful woman make . Like someone said above she's hopelessly plain , this is perhaps why she feels the need to say outlandish things and get involved in a form of glorified charlatanism to draw attention to herself .

For someone with her wealth , to look like she does is really nothing to write home about . I mean, what is there that's so striking ? Martha Stewart might be an ex-felon but she was right when she said

' she just needs to be quiet— she's a movie star. If she were confident in her acting ,she wouldn't be trying to be Martha Stewart .'

I'm casually participating in a thread about her on an anonymous message board not publishing opeds in the times. LOL

People who scream in all caps to make their point are a bit more invested than a casual participator. Something about this woman really gets under her skin and I don't think it's because you're so worried about a bunch of middle aged women buying candles or new lingerie.

Some people use caps for emphasis becuase they are too lazy to code for HTML italics, like me. <shrug>

How do you show emphasis when typing and tone is inaccessible? I think using caps in a targeted way is not the same as tying a whole post in all caps. I am both the PP and the HURTS WOMEN pp (I had to search for awhile to even see what you talking about haha). It is just showing emphasis, but believe I am awake at night thinking about Gwyneth Paltrow if you want hahaha.

I don't get the backlash against the Gwyneth backlash.

If you like her, fine, but it's just a harmless thread with people venting about a celeb. I doubt the Gwynnie lovers are going to convert anyone.

All of this "you must be jealous! you must be bitter!" seems totally over the top.

But do you really think these are GP fans? I sense that there are a lot of contrarians on here who just like to make assumptions and throw around accusations to stir the pot. Who are those types of people called again....???
