One of two things:
You were unconscious for less than a minute. Your kids thought you were pretending to be hurt by the scarf pulling. Your younger kid, in an effort to make you “wake up” drops your hand on your face. You don’t react so GRL thinks maybe I’ll make her hit herself bc then she’ll “wake up”. Your older kid sees you “pretending” and she says, thinking you’ll react, guess I’ll play games on your phone and goes to get the phone. She thinks you’ll stop her. You weren’t unconscious for 3-4 minutes. Or. . . You have raised two kids that are psychopaths. I’m guessing it’s the former. Start having talks about what to do in emergencies. |
This is very disturbing. |
This story makes no sense. |
Look, most ADULTS have no clue what to do when they see a person passed out, and may have a strange panic reaction. So of course children do.
As for the overall situation - a colleague once told me a story about how she passed out momentarily while giving her child a piggyback ride when the child constricted her neck too much, so I believe that it can happen really quickly. |
....strangulation has only recently been identified as one of the most lethal forms of domestic violence: unconsciousness may occur within seconds and death within minutes. When domestic violence perpetrators choke (strangle) their victims, not only is this felonious assault, but it may be an attempted homicide. Strangulation is an ultimate form of power and control, where the batterer can demonstrate control over the victim’s next breath; having devastating psychological effects or a potentially fatal outcome.
Sober and conscious victims of strangulation will first feel terror and severe pain. If strangulation persists, unconsciousness will follow. Before lapsing into unconsciousness, a strangulation victim will usually resist violently, often producing injuries of their own neck in an effort to claw off the assailant, and frequently also producing injury on the face or hands of their assailant. These defensive injuries may not be present if the victim is physically or chemically restrained before the assault. ... Victims of domestic violence blog |
What's your point? That her 5 year old intentionally strangled her? That's not even close to being able to be determined based on this information. |
Right. And then you'd regain consciousness really quickly, as well. Her kids seemed to have at least a couple of minutes to do the things they did, which is concerning on a few fronts. |
No, regaining consciousness can take a few minutes if there’s a health condition (like low blood pressure, which OP said she has). |
The bigger question is why were you wearing a scarf inside the house? Nuts! |
So husband strangled her, then 5yo joined in with punching and 8yo took her phone and played games through the whole thing? |
If I were you OP, I'd ask the moderator to close this thread. |
But you're not, so |
Agree - this can't be real. |
Nice troll thread OP. |
The detail that seems the most suspicious to me is that OP says she was wearing an infinity scarf. |
