Haha! |
50% DA 50% ECNL. Why would anyone post the list? Most of the parents with players on the list are HUMBLE. It’s not meant to be published. If your DD coach thinks your DD is NTC material, she will be recommended. If a scout sees something from your DD that they like, she will be invited to a NTC. If she impresses while at the NTC, she will be invited back. Maybe you feel your DD is better than girls that are getting attention. If she truly is, maybe it’s something else that’s holding her back. |
Post under your name and I will get the list for you. Then we can ALL compare and contrast. |
If you don't know the list then your DD is not on it. That is all that should matter. |
| The list is clearly above reproach. |
Actually it isn't. But shouldn't we ALL get to compare and contrast like you want to do? Or are you afraid to be treated the way you treat 14 and 15 year olds on this board. Loser. |
| If you wanna be in the NTC, come play for FCV. The rest of you can watch us on TV |
Why is the list an entitlement? It is just for a NTC. It isn't like being invited to a camp. It is very possible that zero kids out of the NTC even get a camp invite. Some kids get reinvited back and other don't. Your DD didn't get invited, move on. |
|
Well then....
US Soccer needs to stop posting profile pics, playing time, and team records of players. Its can be seen as deeming to these young athletes. Especially those with limited minutes on a losing team. |
Not every kid that gets a NTC invite plays for DA. ODP does not publish the list of kids who signed up for a tryout. They only publish the list of those who were accepted. Getting invited into a NTC is not the same as being invited to a Camp. That 95% of kids invited to NTC will not get invited to camps is reason enough not to bother publishing the list. |
I think you misunderstood me. The parents that are moaning that they need to see the list to compare and contrast are the ones that should be bold enough to put their DD names on here so everyone can compare and contrast ALL the girls not just blast the ones on the list for their shortcomings. Get it? I don't care to see the list nor do I care who isn't on the list that feel like they deserve it. I think the ones bashing the KIDS on the list are losers. The girls on the list worked hard just like SOME of the girls not on the list. Some are more naturally gifted. Some have been in the better environments over their younger years. It happens. You don't get on that list by not putting in the effort. If you aren't dedicated enough to put in the effort, then don't complain when other do it and accomplish things because of it. Tell your DD to put in the effort before you come on here criticizing the players that do. Bunch of privileged and entitled people on here. Give me a break. |
Posting that list would just cause unnecessary problems. If you agree to accept an invitation to a camp, then you have to agree to publication of your child's name and some information. SAme if you join a GDA team. Accepting an NTC invitation does not require giving permission for names to be published which most normal parents realize is not useful or helpful to their child or anyone else. |
|
But it isn't in the public interest to publish it either. It is not a YNT camp. There is nothing to even brag about. Over the course of the year probably 50-80 kids get called into a NTC in the region. 1 or 2 of them will pan out. They don't have to publish the list, they don't publish the list, they are't going to publish the list and you're not entitled to the list. My kid isn't on the list and that is all that matters to me. I also don't care who is on the list. |
|
It's also not in the public interest to know the win lose record of a team, the results of every game, the game report for every game, nor is it in the public's interest to know the playing time, graduation year, and hometown of a young athlete.
Yet, there it is. In all its glory for the world to see. Brought to you by US Soccer. |
