It's more specific than that. FCV players are being scouted over every other club now that her DD plays there. Before McLean Youth Soccer was scouted over every other club when her DD played there.

She also had the job for a year while her kid was still playing ECNL before the move was made. So after a year of watching DA games she also chose the club/team she felt was best for her kid.

There is nothing nefarious about this at all.

If you think your kid is being overlooked then start with her coach. A email to US Soccer is free and if your coach is valued and trusted then US Soccer will take a look. Otherwise move your DD to a DA. But US Soccer is going to prioritize DA kids over ECNL.

BS. YTC recognizers talented players in ECNL. ECNL is still stronger than DA. FCV and WS would do anything to have ECNL girls and coaches.

Someone may want to take a look at two of the top ECNL clubs in the area (BRYC & McLean) and tell us how they develop vs. recruit. BRYC and McLean can be found hiding in the woods recruiting at other clubs' games. LMAO.

McLean’s 02 ECNL coach has been seen hiding in the bushes at local competitors training sessions to ID players he wants to take. But, keep thinking he’s developing players.

Don't think it is dense. I think this is one of the two coaches (BRYC or McLean) trying to excuse hiding in bushes by saying they were "taking notes".

I think those 2 coach’s records speak for themselves. Bring your daughters out for try-outs. Maybe then they’ll actually be looked at for YTC.

Sounds like you have a DD that either didn't make FCV or once played for FCV and doesn't play there any more. But don't worry, if your DD is that good that it is a no-brainer that she should be in NTC, that talents will be found. Just keep posting and don't forget to put up some videos on YouTube.
