Yet, there it is. In all its glory for the world to see. Brought to you by US Soccer.

None of that matters. The leagues are under no obligation to post or not to post. CCL doesn't post scores or rosters.

We all understand that you WANT to see the list but that doesn't mean you are entitled to see the list.

Your kid is not on it. End of story. Who is on it is irrelevant, knowing who is on it will not change the fact that your kid is not on it. Knowing who is on the list will not be the deciding factor of who is on the list at the next NTC.

You think only US Soccer does this? GotSoccer, TopDrawer, USClub (which is ECNL). Selective outrage.

US Soccer DA and US Soccer NTC.
An entire players profile and worth to a team should be posted on a DA site by the players selected to a National Training Center should be private.

Got it.

It is not your right to know who is on the list. UNDERSTAND THIS fact as it is the only thing that is relevant.

It must be so crushing for you to realize that your DD's soccer potential now has a ceiling. My guess is, she is more accepting of reality than you and she probably just wants to play, get better and enjoy the game for what it is.

Just be happy that you have a happy, healthy, talented and normal kid.

You are a piece of work whoever you are. If you're a coach (my guess) then you shouldn't be surprised if players don't want to play for you. If you are a parent, you're an example of the "crazy sports parent" that is likely going to cost your child both happiness and success.

I am guessing the poster attacking the scout is not very highly though of around the area. Just a guess.

NTC has lots of strong players and a few weak ones who may not get invited back in my limited experience. No reason to subject those names to publication and it might discourage some kids from attending if they knew their name had to be published. It is a nice event hosted by US Soccer to scout some players. Again, in my limited experience, it is obvious who the stand-out players are and who they are really watching. It is pleasure to watch some of these very fine players.

I am sure your player is very strong or why would you be reading this forum. Watch some of the US soccer videos of some of the youth players they do identify publicly that play for the youth national teams. Then you can see the special nature of some of these players. Mine is a very strong player but it is very educational to watch some of these chosen players and appreciate how they separate from the pack. The handful I have met seem to be nice kids as well.

So for the 2004 age group, roughly 500 or so NTC invites will go out for the remainder of the year. Likely have of those will probably be call backs.

So this parent honestly believes that their DD is among the top 200-500 players her age in the nation and that she is just being snubbed?

Which is really more likely? That your kid is at worst one of the top 500 kids at her age in the nation, and at best one of the top 30 kids in the nation but either way she is just being overlooked because of not being friends?

Ummmmm sure.

The obvious answer to this thread is that you better get to FCV if you think your DD has YNT talent. The rest of the area clubs get the middle finger.
