Umm well, it's red meat, which really isn't healthy. If you had posted a piece of grilled fish I would agree with you.

Lean red meat is a great source of protein, and this cut is low fat. Perfectly healthy.

"The warning from the study, done by researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health, sounded ominous. Every extra daily serving of unprocessed red meat (steak, hamburger, pork, etc.) increased the risk of dying prematurely by 13%."

Well, I'd eat it in a heartbeat and feel good about it. I disagree that red meat is bad for you, but then again I wouldn't eat half a cow at one sitting either.

You think even red meat that isn't lean is healthy for you? Really?

I would definitely eat this, too.

Protein and iron is pretty much a all red meat has to offer. Both of which can be found a much healthier sources that don't tax your colon.and I hope this isn't representative of the entire meal. Because there is a lot of fiber missing and with all that red meat, your colon needs fracking fiber

From your link:

“A month ago, a Japanese study of more than 51,000 men and women followed for 16 years found no connection between moderate meat consumption (up to three ounces a day) and premature death.”

I personally find eating beef disgusting. Fish is much healthier and it doesn't involve eating a tortured cow raised as part of an exploitative industry that contributes in an outsized manner to climate change.

To that end, though, I also think it's wrong to eat chicken (chicken farmers are essentially in sharecropping relationships with their employers), lamb, and pork.

Yes, but most Americans eat way more than 3oz a day. That picture showed a much bigger cut.

Yep, I do. So does plenty of the world. Why is Wagyu so valued around the world? Everything in moderation, the end. The feeling of joy and pleasure eating it? Also healthy for me.

My colon is fine. I didn’t post the picture, nor do I think it’s “an entire meal”.

Jesus some of you are dense. Not everything needs to be taken and consumed to the extreme.

Than start your own vegetarian thread. We don’t care what you think.

I love steak and beef, and I am American(now) and I will eat a steak in a minute. I haven't had any beef for 2 months now, and bought some hamburgers today for tomorrow. I disagree with you statement.
