Nothing tastes as good as thin feels

I wrote it. I did indeed. The point is, someone who is consuming fast food fries is not going to be worried about the sugar in their ketchup. If your going to have a big plate of fries anyway, why not have ketchup?
.

DP but not. The poiint is YOU.ARE.WRONG.

Plenty of people understand balance and moderation as well as having the self-control to occassionally indulge while still being healthy and fit. Even *GASP* someone who has been known to consune some french fries. With or witbout ketchup. Possibly with or withoutmalt vinegar too.

Clearly you are not someone who can handle that, and that’s fine. But your pre-conceived notions of someone who eats french fries are completely ridiculous. I literally cannot think of a single thing the fact that someone consumes french fries allows you to conclude. That they are alive and human?

Dude, if you are downing a plate of fries - I don't care if you do it daily, weekly or as a once a year indulgence - you are not going to worry about the ketchup. You just aren't.

I'm not saying that you are ignorant of the fact that ketchup has carbs in it. I'm just saying that when you are indulging in a plate of french fries you are unlikely to be concerning yourself with the calorie/carb content of the ketchup. If you aren't dipping your fries in ketchup, it's because you prefer to dip them in mayo or bbq sauce or whatever else floats your boat.

Honestly, I really and truly don't care if or how often you eat fries. And I really, really don't care if you eat them with ketchup.

Um you clearly care deeply about ketchup, as well as who else cares about it and even judgement against people about ketchup. Don’t try to put me in your weird ketchup belief system.

I am fat now but used to be relatively thin. I can testify that lots of food tastes as good as thin feels. If it didn't I wouldn't be fat.

One of the things about being a formerly fat person is that it's kind of like being a spy. I realize how many people treat you so differently. Like most people who lose a bunch of weight, I'm never stable there. My weight swings back up as soon as I ease up at all (I mean AT ALL) on the diet. I remember when I was my thinnest I agreed to go to a sushi dinner and I gained 6 pounds overnight. It took me 2 weeks to get it back off.

So anyway when I'm thin, I'm feeling anxiety about re-gaining and despair/anger at people for how they treat me, interspersed with feeling exhilarated/thrilled with my physical abilities and/or sex appeal. It's definitely a mixed bag. But, so is food.

You don't get fat overnight. It was water retention from eating salt and carbs.
And I am on low carb and IF myself, so I know the struggle is real

I lost 15 lb and gained 4lb in two days as soon as I eased. This is a real struggle. I am back on IF and thinking this might be a lifelong change.

Maybe that kind of extreme swing is your body panicking because of IF!

To gain 4 lbs in 2 days, you would have to not move at all and eat 7000k a day. Assuming you move the minimum and you weigh little, you baseline burn say, 1100 calories a day. So you would have to have eaten 5000ish a dayx2. The odds of that being "easing up" are incredibly low.

That weight fluctuation is not real weight. It can happen during your menstrual cycle, from eating a salty meal, from eating but not having enough fiber. It is absolutely crazy town for you to think that you gain 4 pounds in 2 days of real weight

What's with all the dipping sauces anyway? French fries are yummy anyway, so are chicken tenders. Why add sweet and sour, teriyaki, ketchup, etc to it at all? Why add gravy to fried meat? I don't get it, this is not a thing in my native country at all. Salads used to be salt, vinegar and a bit of oil, now it is sugar sauce. Why is breading on Chick Fila full of sugar? Why not just flour and breadcrumbs as before? You bite into that chicken and it is sweet. I bet you there is sugar on Mc french fries on top, before you even drench them in ketchup. Yes, just checked it, dextrose added for golden look. Why?
What happened to cutting up potatoes and frying them?

I'm sure there are things about your eating preferences and habits that others would find weird or unhealthy, too. It's all relative.

Since you have so many questions, here's one for you: If you native country is so amazing and superior to ours, WHY ARE YOU HERE?

Whoa. I love a good salad with vinegar, and I skip ketchup, I prefer my Chick-Fil-A grilled, HOWEVER, do not bring gravy into this conversation. GRAVY is delicious.

I am sure you are fat and a Trump supporter. Go away and eat your fat food.

Pan dripping gravy is delicious, that nasty white stuff has no place in our diets.

At least once a year it does. If you think it's nasty, you haven't had it seasoned or made correctly.

NP. So what is the answer to the question, though?

this thread is batsh-t. almost 20 pages of moralizing -- "i would only eat one bite of that!" and "i can indulge sometimes and still be thin. sorry you can't!"

are we THAT gross?
