Bullis Lacrosse Situation

At least with DCE I know what I am getting—pay to play club ball that competes at the top tournaments against the top teams in the country.

Yeah, look at DCE 2019 & 2020. Real world beaters.

DCE has no track record at college recruiting. Too busy eobbing people and kicking coaches out.

And that Bullis dad/family was recruited to Bullis by JB. And JB brought in a lot of other top players over the past decade. Some members of Board seem to have fallen prey to false DCE claims that they brought in all the good/new players. What is Board doing in the mix on lacrosse program anyway? If they are in it, they owe it to Bullis to get facts straight.

Is this true? This looks terrible for the school.

"Pay to Play"....exactly. That phrase has negative connotations in case you were unaware and does not reflect well on DCE. Unfortunate DCE took that pay-to-play 'ethos' to Bullis and bombarded Bullis lacrosse parents with emails about clinics and training that they should be providing as part of their 'leadership' on the Bullis lacrosse program. Conflict of interest and lack of leadership....

If this is who I think it is, he was not a JB recruit, but a BLC player placed by BLC dads/DCE coaches. DCE and the BLC/now DCE dads are running the show at Bullis.

Not accurate. JB recruited the player's mom, who got hired by Bullis full-time, and her son came in 8th grade. JB had been working with the dad for many years and both played lax at Navy.

To Dad whose son was cut from DCE at some point, the bulk of DCE 2021 team has been playing together since elementary/middle school - prior to DCE being founded last year to enable this group to continue playing together through HS. Only 20% of the roster goes to Bullis. The other 80% are Landon/Prep/Gonzaga/publics who have nothing to do with Bullis....get your facts straight!

I'm not the poster you were responding to but I'm confused. In other words, DCE failed to accomplish their goal of keeping the 2021 team together through HS? Didn't you say that is why DCE was founded? I am missing your point. What's so great about DCE's role in the 2021 team at Bullis then? Why doesn't DCE go to Landon/Prep/Gonzaga/publics and try to take over their program then?
