Stars has a non-lacrosse playing Parent coach?!!!!!
Did people ask for refunds? |
There are at least 2 parent coaches which I really don’t like, and I was told they didn’t allow parent coaches. |
Looked at the Stars Coaching Staff by team. Looks pretty strong to me. |
Shameless self promotion, it’s not super strong, I wish it were. |
| Stars is by far the best. The other clubs are dirt. |
|
The above post speaks for itself - an example of the awful Stars parents.
Stay far away. |
Truth hurts |
| So now with the June tryouts, stars players can’t try out for another team? Because they will have to. Innit before the August try outs at the other clubs? Why in the world would they do this? They don’t want the girls to have choice? |

I do not know any of the specifics you are referring to but it is true that one of the most accomplished and influential coaches in the game is a dad who coached his daughter
|
| Are you referring to Sofield? |
No Gary Gait |
This is exactly why. |
| Evaluations for 7th/8th Grade was the same weekend last year; this year they added 6th grade. I think the girls are likely in better shape, having just finished the spring season and summer tournaments. I would think they'd feel more confident in their preparedness than they'd feel at the end of August having done probably not much for 6 weeks. Coaches probably feel like they're getting a better idea of skill level as well and decisions are being made more fairly. |
| It would appear less strange if they were finished with summer tournaments. They still have at least one tournament left after tryouts. |
| Stars is worried about girls switching to Pride or some of the Maryland teams. This really stinks and backs girls into a corner. It would be one thing if the club was well run, but it’s not, at least not for younger grades. |
