No, the democrat party is about breaking people into classes and then pitting one interest group against another. Goebbels (Hitler's propaganda minister) would be proud. The entire democrat agenda is about racial and identity politics. Hispanic caucus? Black caucus? Paleeez.

I'm not sure if that is a racial problem, a labor market rate problem, or the difficulty of switching jobs on that visa making it easier to exploit workers problem.

I don’t know. The ones hired in beach towns up and down the shore each summer have a brand of surliness I’ve never seen in other immigrants or Americans.

I always get the feeling they’re surprised and angered by the low wages and low level of respect.
