If you want to be honest, the Republican party is totally about white identity these days. Look at Gillespie's ads. They are all about immigration and protecting Confederate statues. The entire Republican agenda is about protecting white people from everyone else.

How is it not identity politics when republicans keep raking the confederacy, brown immigrants are replacing whites, "jews can't replace us" slogans of white supremacists, courting the white supremacist voters by GOP for decades?[/quote]
