Congrats! We're also waiting to hear about Pine Crest. Did you receive the same applicant score info as the previous poster? I'm curious if they have anything specific to center.

Still no letter here.

No letter yet, but we got a form showing our daughter's SAS score, compared to the median of all the kids who applied.

So it sounds like the score letter gives the median of the applicant pool, not of the accepted students at your particular center. That's different from previous years, right?

Nope it does gives the median of accepted students scores..as per what some other parent said !!:_)

The form I got had my kid's score and the median score of the applicant pool, but didnt' say whether she was accepted.

Not given the accepted students score is smart for them (to avoid appeals of unhappy parents). Imagine you see your kid getting a 120 score and knowing that the minimal acceptance score was 118. What would you do? Appeal, maybe?
However the test score is not the only acceptance criteria. Teachers' recommendations, 2nd and 3rd grades report cards, MAP-D scores are also taken in consideration. If the kinds gets a fantastic score at test but has mostly 'I' in the report cards then I doubt he/she will get chosen. Tricky, isn't it?

The don't give a minimum score..just the median..it does not provide much info. It would be nice to know the range.

I agree but as the previous guy says it may bring them more trouble. Median is safer to release but pretty useless information for parents.

I called the HGC office and heard a recorded message that the letters were mailed on Monday March 27th and to allow up to 4 days for them to arrive before calling. I mail letters and packages all the time with tracking - within the area they take 1-2 days at most. Frustrating that so many people got them yesterday and today. They should really move to an online system where all results are published at the same time - this is archaic.
