I guess you don’t have any information on the team so shouldn’t comment. |
| And you do? So share oh informed one. |
They did tie a game against each other... I guess that's something. PWSI v VSA Final Score 1-1 |
If you know much about these clubs then you know they dont prioritize winning at U little, especially for a warm up tourney. So the record means very little. Second, PWSI played Richmond Orange and Red closely. These are very good teams. Looks like VSA went 1-1-1. More trolling from VDA haters. If you are going to lie, at least make sure it is something you cant fact check in 10 seconds. |
No lies told on the previous post. The only win for VSA was against a non ECNL team. |
Much kool-aid has been consumed by this one. |
bahahahahahahahaha |
must be nice to get the collegiate experience in youth soccer. I wonder how the rest of the team feels? |
honestly it will be the parents expectations that will be the biggest issues. Lots of marketed players. Some will have to take a backseat as the cream rises to the top. More interesting is the players coming on who did not have to go through the traditional ids. lol Someone is all in on the poker board. Next years sessions will probably have less players. |
VDA club feeder found this out after the IDs. Some players were selected without even coming to the IDs, and some were offered spots before the IDs. The IDs just seemed like a show. |

If your child wants to be recruited and is realistic about the level (many are not, and the parents are not either) then most clubs can get that done. A lot of players think they want to play college soccer until they become realistic about where they can play and what the life of a college athlete s like (hint: it is not that of a normal college student even at the D3 level).
If the kid wants to play, then the player needs to contact the coach. The player needs to know the grades he or she needs, and be able to achieve them. The player needs to turn up to camps and ID clinics, and needs to share thoughtful expressions of interest with the coach in addition to providing a game schedule. The kid needs follow up and thank a coach for coming to watch a game. The player should also be sure the club coach (at any club) is aware of his or her interest in playing in college and if a coach is coming to watch, that fact needs to be shared with the coach so he can help by giving the kid plenty of time to show their skills and knowledge of the game in front of the coach. The parent needs to prepare to have the player do all of this, and needs to be quiet and supportive on the sidelines and not a crazy person. The parent needs to let the kid relax before a game where someone will be watching too, not providing an hour of commentary about 'the importance of this game' on the way to the field. |
| Players selected and given offers without id sessions isn't just a VDA thing, they all do it. We only find out who is on the team when the roster comes out, hard to assume by who is at id sessions anymore. |
+1. |
Seems like U13-U15 mixed together, with multiple “superteams” 😂 |
Surprised they didn’t try to get more defenders considering they moved all their defenders down. |
