Is VDA the best club to get recruited from?

VDA 2014 might be a super team. They brought in some very impactful outsiders to join the team. Kudos to AS for fighting to keep all of his trapped girls and a couple of VSA girls, even though it’s clear that some of them don’t really belong there. Hopefully he can develop them; otherwise, many of those players will likely be replaced next year with even more outsiders. VDA’s future looks bright with star players coming from outside the club.

Lots of promises...

What type of promises?

some holdouts some are talking apparently. I hope parents are smart enough to realize DD would be seen regardless of the club. Snagged one defender as well. Hearing E is plugging the holes to keep the ship afloat. Loving this quiet chess match.

This is 15/16 talk… the chats are chattering. BP is desperately trying to woo a certain player from her playoff contention team. Lots of personality to handle with the new team if that player foolishly jumps ship. And if that team doesn’t make it to the postseason whats the point. Which team is better, tried and true with departing players vs version 2 of a project that didn’t exactly work out. Charlotte is also making moves.

Interesting times.

Also yes props to AS for standing his ground.
And yes I see the jab lol. Lots of outside recruitment for future easy placement posts. BP has to stick the landing however and then some. Where is @pitchprochecy for the predictions.

Fistbumps and placement posts. Even though DD has already done enough branding.

Unless PP is inferring free rides. Now that would be interesting

Promises and hugely reduced club fees. This is the way he recruits the top players. IYKYK

The team is stacked. Not everyone gets the spotlights. It will all work out in the end on both teams. But curious to see how the promises are being kept with the stats from last year when more provided are being made to new comers.

Fancy footwork and flashy moves on Instagram won’t translate well to the big field. Soon they’ll realize what a spot they wasted. Fancy moves might work on a futsal court, but without soccer IQ and teamwork, they’re useless. Sometimes it feels like the players and the club just scammed each other — Touché

Could be an asset if the coach can teach them how to play together as a team.

I mean no disrespect, but I don’t think either of their feeder teams won a single game at their tournament this past weekend except to a non pre-ECNL team.

I can barely tell what years everyone are discussing.

That’s why they’re bringing in the top player in the DMV, from MYS. Absolute game-changer, and will be a huge loss to our team, but I can appreciate she wants to depart the toxic cesspool we swim in. One more year to endure…

Unfortunately, soccer is a team sport, not individual.

That has little bearing on next year’s U13 team.

Not if 95% of the team is made up of those teams.
