Harry and Meghan’s Christmas card

The lighting on their bodies does not match the lighting on the landscape.

The angles of the lighting are different in all 3 parts, dad/son, mom/daughter and bridge/nature.

The person saying the Wales photo is photoshopped and the sussex photo is oh so natural needs to look at the lighting.

Megans lighting is coming from behind (look at her dress and her daughter's hair)

Harry's lighting is coming from a front angle from the left side of the shot (look at his hair and his shirt at his shoulder)

The landscape lighting is coming from the right side (look at the light and shadows on the plant leaves an ground)

The photo is fine, but very staged and photoshopped.

They will never know their extended relatives and the children of close family/school friends their father knew. There is a comfort knowing you can go to a friends country estate and not have paparazzi around or that your lifelong friend us going to take a picture of your kid or talk to the press.

There is a specific way of acting, talking, living that British aristocracy has. These two kids will never really be exposed to that so will never later fit in. Yet they can’t be carefree CA kids because their parents don’t have many CA friends so can’t always be sure who to trust.

I play the tiniest violin for these two children of immense privilege.

The one where her dress is see through, his pants are sagging, and the children are oddly placed. Even if this was the only good photo, I can’t believe that no one on their team suggested photoshopping the image to remove all these issues.

The photo is clearly 3 photos photoshopped together to make 1 shot

The Wales picture is adorable.

Frankly neither of these photos is particularly compelling. I’ve seen better ones snapped by amateurs.

Yes, very awkward. And something about the pose with Meghan and her daughter makes me think she's leaning down to scold her. I know Meghan is smiling but it’s like when your kid keeps disobeying and you take them by both hands and tell them to look you in the eye and listen or else. The whole thing is awkward to me!

When I go in to touch my daughter's face, I don't bend at the waist, I kneel down to get close - I'm not sure I've ever bent at the waist like that. I think that's what is so odd about the post. I think a lot of parents would want their whole body to be close to their child, not just their face.

Agree.

As someone with curly hair, I will posit that brushing Lilibet's hair could make it very frizzy. Or it could be that humidity makes her hair freak out a bit.

Or maybe she hates having it brushed. I did when I was her age, and I have a vivid memory of having my hair brushed and squirming around so much trying to get away that my mom whacked me with the brush. It's OK with me if Megan prefers unbrushed hair on a preschooler to that.

But regardless: You are criticizing the hair of a preschooler.

It's the parents job to make the kids presentable. It's not her fault her hair is a hot mess.

Her hair is not a hot mess. It looks perfectly fine. She looks like a 4-year-old with curly hair running around in field on a warm day.

WTF is wrong with you people?

Running around a field with those shoes on? Hardly. Look, it's just not a great effort. Either deal with it or report this thread because you're can't handle it.[/qOlds?

Why would I report this thread? Are you criticizing her hair because she's mixed race?

She is like 80% European and appears to have very fine flyaway not thick or curly caucasian hair

Harry Wales and Meghan Sussex

He's been Harry Wales since childhood because his dad was Prince of Wales then. He used that last name at school and in the military. He got the Sussex title as a wedding gift. So his wife is Duchess of Sussex. She is not a Princess of Wales OR THE Princess of Wales. I guess she was never made a Princess. Technically, I think Kate was not until William became THE Prince of Wales. There was much remark over how William put "princess of the UK" as Kate's occupation on (George's?) birth certificate. At that point she could have gone by Kate Cambridge. And was a royal duchess. At that time, she could also have been called Princess William.
.

But William dropped Wales and took Cambridge as his surname after his wedding. He didn't switch back to Wales until he became the prince of Wales.

Harry got Sussex at his wedding but and despite Meghan saying that was their family surname, Harry is apparently using his brother's title.

No, Harry is Prince Henry of Wales.

William is.

Just face it. Harry is obsessed with William and Kate and wants to be William.

You are doubling down on your ignorance. Harry has multiple titles. Wikipedia is your friend.

If it's so humid her hair is frizzy then why is her brother in a heavy long sleeve shirt.

Nothing in that picture makes sense.

I wonder if one or both of the kids wear a wig, to make it harder to them in real life. It seems unlikely that both parents have red hair gene, which is how the children get red hair. The wig may be mussed up a bit to look like real hair.

Meghan's mom is multiracial, and her dad is white. Meghan is likely 60% ish European. The kids are mostly Europen with a little bit of AA in them from Megan's moms gene pool. With so much European in their gene pool from both mom and dad, it is not at all surprising that they ended up with red hair.

BS. Seen plenty of moms bend to face their child.

Actually, Meghan is a princess. She is Princess Henry of Wales.

Wikipedia is written by any internet troll who bothers to post and is often inaccurate as a result.

You could login to Wikipedia and write that harry's title is prince of burbank and Meghan is grand duchess of milan, but that would not make it true.

But tree branches would not change tge direction of the lighting on 4 subjects and scenery that is all roughly in the same spot.

Each of those 3 components is lit from entirely different angles.

It is 3 separate photos photoshopped into 1 shot.
