How much did you sleep around in college?

Anonymous
Why is there so much moral police here? I unfortunately did not sleep with that many people in college but see no moral violation for those who did. I think you can be healthy and have multiple partners. Let's say a young person sleeps with 5 new people a year, which is not much, then that's 20 in 4 years. Why the moral panic? Again, I wish I had more fun.

I thinks that’s pretty normal. By mid-30s, the expectation is that most folks would have ~ 75 partners or so.

Lol, only one of my female friends has over 30 partners and good for her. I also find men with over 50 to be quite rare in my circles anyway. People I know well enough to know this about are generally like me, open-minded, sex positive, etc. but most of us got married in our early 30s and had less than 20 partners before then.

I'm a foreign woman that so many American men fawn over. You'd be shocked how wrong you are about the number of parters I had. We don't have the puritanical BS moral hang-ups that you Americans have and don't feel the need to disclose this kind of nonsense to anyone. It's my business who I slept with.

Also, it's not about what's fun for you. It's about people like you policing what might be fun for other people and then making it a moral issue. It's not.

You’d be surprised that most Americans outside the bible belt aren’t puritanical at all. But I also think that sex, I mean really good mind blowing sex, is somewhat sacred (and this is coming from an atheist). I won’t risk my health for just anyone. I have to connect with someone deeply and lust has to be there too before we can be intimate. This should be normal. Not a lot of women are coming from one night stands. The best sex I have is generally once I am falling in love with someone.

That's fine for YOU. Other people might feel differently about sex and it doesn't make them morally deficient in any way.

Nobody said it did. Why so defensive?

My original response was to this poster: "Why is having many p in your v having fun. Fun to me is a hobby , art or travelling what is wrong with you. No wonder men are seeking foreign women"

Why are you incapable of reading?

How do you know that "so many American men" are fawning over you? You need to provide some (actual) background for this post.

It is much more likely you are a sock-puppet.

I risk my health every time I eat at Arby's. Taking a little risk for sex is more reasonable than what I already do for roast beef.

That’s gross.
75 total!? 5 different sexual partners a year!?

If you train yourself that sex is a meaningless self-centered mechanical thing to do, and who cares who it’s with this month or the next, sure.

Most people don’t want to desensitize themselves to sex, intimacy and real connections & relationships. But having 4-10 different sexual partners a year is a sure fire way to accomplish that!
