Do you think the popular girls tend to have the popular moms?

They cannot include everyone, no group can. Just find the people that want to hang out with you. It isn’t hard. And it isn’t mean.

Right. If only 5 girls do something, the 6th was left out. If only 10, the 11th was. It never ends. And those who do make the cut never give any mindshare to those that don’t. That equality and mean girl bullying talk goes out the window once your kid makes the cut.

What is the point you are trying to make? Than you can be a rich immigrant and popular?

No, I’m saying if you are an athletic boy, you can be popular and included. If you are social and well liked, you can also be popular. I’m not part of any mom social scene of my kids’ parents. We do live in a 15,000sf house and kids often come and go.

WTF?

Do you live in Winchester or something? No one has 15,000sf in DC proper.

Potomac, McLean, Great Falls, etc

Yeah, in our school popular girls all dress the same, it’s like a Lululemon uniform, carry Stanleys, color their hair blond.

Only certain sports are accepted volleyball and tennis. They belong to the same sorority. They go to the same “high society” balls, like debutant ball.

Their families go to the same island for vacation.

+2

Girls whose main goal is marriage to a rich guy. Like the movies.

Real popular girls have a variety of interests, their interests go way beyond sports, some dress basic like Lululemon, some dress high end, they haven’t peaked in high school, they like to have fun.

If your child isn’t one of them, how do you know what other kids are doing in their spare time? So much hate in this thread. Obv a lot of personal high school insecurities from decades ago being projected

Popular girls tend to have popular moms. Apples don’t fall far from the tree.
