This is what usually happens to women who have affairs in Virginia since the affair is technically a crime and the judge will rule you can't have alimony because you spread your legs to another man like a filthy slut for some, you know, boom boom boom. |
See this a lot at work, our private school, and our neighborhood. The ex husband goes off to travel, date, exercise, and forget about their kids beyond a weekly dinner and some Disney dad vacations. Those must be so forced and awkward, but I guess the money flying around makes it work. |

Alimony is pretty limited everywhere these days. They might get it a few years to get on their feet--get a job, but is usually not a 'lifetime, welfare' situation. |
