| I am a divorced man and I can share my experience. When my wife filed for divorce it came as a shock. By the time she filed she had already grieved the end of the marriage I assume. And women have a better support network. Unlike men they don't suffer in silence. They talk. They will talk to anyone who will listen to them. So in my opinion this could explain the reason women do better post divorce. But this ability to cope better following a traumatic event like a divorce is also an innate advantage that women have over men. We cannot ignore our biological differences. Each sex has strengths and weaknesses compared to the other. |

Having been held down for a long time is like rubber band being released. He put me in the hole by using my credit cards.
Once I got rid of him, here came to rubber band to the other direction. My net worth skyrocketed. Same with the emotional abuse. I get so much done when nobody is putting me down at home. Before you ask where I find the losers, I said 'no' to about hundred other ones. |

| I don't know if they do better, but they certainly give the impression that they are doing better. I think OP is referring to the renewed attention that they get from men again. Well I do not know a single woman who does not get attention from men lol. Even a 400 lbs woman will get attention from some men. Men will swipe right at every single woman. That's just the natural mating process at play. And it's a nightmare for women because 9/10 times they will spend a lot of time getting ready for a first date only for the guy to turn out to be wacky. |

My ex husband became functionally depressed but he also changed job and his wealth just took off like a rocket out of nowhere and each time he got a raised he voluntarily increased his child support obligation. |
