Why do you find it boring? I find it fascinating. Do you have a vested interest in trying to shut the discussion down? |
Fascinating |
Anybody have a u14 (2011) girl at Bethesda? Do they have 2 or 3 teams? Are they still recruiting? |
can someone provide a link to this lawsuit? |
Seconded. I don't think there is one. |

No pending cases against the club or Jonathon Colton. |
I couldn't believe how BSC coaches treated their girls |
My son has an offer here so I’d love to learn more about what’s going on here. He’s really excited to be a part of an MLS Next Club but I want to do our due diligence. |
No one does due diligence on DCUM. |
And this is not just with kids that they believe are not performing. They mainly go against top performing kids after finding out they are trying out for other clubs, or because of their siblings leaving the club, etc. |
MLS Next is the carrot they love to dangle. |
Due Diligence happens before joining Also, you're in the wrong place for subjective reviews |
Sounds like your daughter didn't make that team. Bitter.. Its quite sad really. |
There is a fabulous coach for girls 2010 and 2011 2nd teams. Agree with others that some coaches are unbelievable and DD would leave rather than play for them. |
lol. I think you mean “objective reviews”. And this is as good a place as any to try to get info given the utter lack of transparency at the leadership and board level. PP, just my two cents, but I think it’s worth trying BSC for a year to see if your child likes it. Most of the MLSNext coaches are OK to decent, and none is a straight up disaster, in my experience. There will almost certainly be good kids and parents you’ll get to know, and they will give you the scoop on the pluses and minuses of the club and coaches. The depressing truth is that there aren’t any clear-cut better options around here for most boys. |
