FEMA manages disaster recovery, it doesn’t have a criminal justice component. Wrong agency for a variety of reasons, no too mention they currently do not have anything to do with such “camps”. I think your cousin is pulling your leg. They are definitely not in any type of FEMA facility. A quick google search will confirm this.

The federal agency with a mission most similar to securing and maintaining custody of people would be the federal bureau of prisons. But since these people haven’t technically committed a crime, it would be hard to argue they should be in custody of the BoP.

I think an entirely new agency needs to be created to administer this, not have it forced onto an existing one.

The posters in this thread referencing MAGAs and their conspiracy theories about "FEMA Camps" are being sarcastic and are mocking MAGAs.
