Turn off the right wing lie spigot, that’s how it gets solved. Easier said than done, obviously, but it wasn’t that long ago that Republicans weren’t totally gone.

But it isn't like they didn't believe all of the lies about Hillaary, about Obama, about John Kerry (swiftboat) and the list goes on. They have a daily outrage machine that gets repeated on syndicated AM radio all day and then amplified on Fox and social media.

When you turn off the right wing lie spigot, you will (1) force them deeper down the rabbit hole, and (2) feed their massive, unwarranted persecution complexes. I don't think there's an easy solution here.
