You clearly lack both common sense and any sense of local geography. Sounds like you're the type of dope Frisch is counting on to get re-elected, and it's likely you share an agenda that has nothing to do with quality education. They should fund additions to schools, not build a completely unnecessary one that is surrounded by under-enrolled elementary schools (Cunningham Park, Stenwood, Vienna, Freedom Hill). |
Elementary kids should never be rezoned from their walkable neighborhood schools. Only an idiot with no common sense would build an elementary school in an area with no walkable housing to save a dog park. |
Karl Frisch closed the gun ban loophole to ban guns on all school property. Before this, guns were only banned in instructional buildings. |
Well, that hasn't happened and isn't going to happen. |
Important given that the county is the home to the NRA. |
We get it. Guns were already banned in school buildings but Frisch focuses on other places (for example, where School Board members have offices). Meanwhile kids in Providence attend schools where classrooms are in trailers and cheap modulars - and money that could have been spent to remedy that gets wasted on a completely UNNECESSARY elementary school in Dunn Loring instead, courtesy of Karl. He's such a slimeball. |

I think appropriate gun control is important. I also don't think local school boards are really in the driver's seat when it comes to that issue. They have very limited delegated authority in that space.
On the other hand, they have a lot of oversight authority with respect to academics, operations, and facilities. It's unfortunate Frisch pays so little attention to those issues - and then lies about what he has done. |
In general, yes. But they did have control here: https://www.ffxnow.com/2022/02/09/fairfax-county-school-board-moves-to-expand-ban-on-firearms-rise-in-threats-of-violence/ Fairfax County Public Schools intends to prohibit guns from all properties that it owns or leases amid heightened concerns about the safety of students, staff, and elected officials. The Fairfax County School Board agreed unanimously at a work session yesterday (Tuesday) to direct Superintendent Scott Brabrand and his staff to develop a draft policy for its governance committee to consider at its March 1 meeting. Firearms are already banned from public and private school grounds in Virginia, but this policy would take advantage of a measure approved by the General Assembly in 2021 giving local school boards the authority to also designate administrative buildings as “gun-free zones.” |
| Karl Frisch supports, and will continue to prioritize equity, diversity, and inclusion in FCPS schools, particularly as it relates to teens, tweens, and children who identify as LGBTQIA++. |
BS. He pushes all sorts of things.

Tony Sabio auctioned off a semi-automatic rifle to raise money for his campaign for Providence School Board seat. The same type of gun used in the deadliest mass shooting in American history!!! This man is dangerous and should not be within 250 feet of a school. https://www.fcnp.com/2023/10/19/news-briefs-october-19-25-2023/ |
Why is this a bad thing? |
Prioritizing DEI is the job of the FCPS Chief DEI Officer and her staff. Karl is supposed to run an academic institution, sometimes called a school system (my children’s school system). ACADEMIC INSTITUTION. But academics are not his priority. He’s stated that many times. Is it any wonder academic performance has deteriorated so greatly under the leadership of Frisch? But again - he has other priorities. |

Karl Frisch does not even have children in an FCPS school.
In fact, he is not even a parent. |
The bar was low for exceeding Frisch...and yet the GOP backed candidate can't even meet that low standard. |
