Yeah again…, why is it crazy to dislike Meghan Markle? Why is it crazy to hear their wild lies (the racist allegations against a family member, who made who cry, paying the dad back the tuition money, the pilot who traded up thanking Markle for living in the UK while half black (sob), the wild high speed chase in Manhattan) and to find them repellent? It’s not weird to dislike a public figure that is so overexposed. She’s gagging for approval and attention and validation and not everyone is going to bite!

Honestly, the Meghan Markle stans are trying to gaslight us. Notice the PP who just HAD to post about how she won't post in this thread: [judgmental comment] + [backs out slowly]. That's a pretty heavy investment into our conversation, especially when you try so hard to pretend that you're above it. And that's even assuming it's a new poster and not someone's sock puppet trying to psychologically attack people.

It's not crazy to believe the evidence of our eyes and ears. It's not crazy to have discernment, when we've all likely experienced female predators in one shape or form. If Meghan is narcissistic and thirsty enough to put her entire family drama and personal opinions out there, the rest of us are going to use discernment and judgment. Know who has a problem with that? Wannabe cult leaders. Because cult leaders want robots who are brainwashed into praising them, not a critically thinking, discerning audience.

There's a reason why Meghan titled her (failed, half-assed, not fully produced) podcast "Archetypes". She knew that public figures such as royal family members are archetypes in the public's eye. She just figured that she could cast herself as the Disney Princess, not the Evil Witch.

You’re crazy, and I don’t like MM at all. She’s obviously self centered and probably a narcissist but so are a lot of actors and it’s psychotic to single her out and act like she’s the evil witch of Hollywood.

Exactly.

There were plenty of options. He didn’t look hard enough.

Why would Jeff care if we bash MM?

You must be new here. Just wait.

No there weren’t lol. Why would they pick Harry when they could easily find someone with more money that doesn’t require them to lose privacy and have to socialize with his toxic weird family. There’s a reason why neither William nor Harry ended up with women from an actually wealthy family. It’s a lot of baggage.

He could get a job as an adjunct professor somewhere.

It’s well-known he’s not bright, never has been. What is he going to teach?

I'm surprised people aren't aware that the adjunct professor dig is a racist slam on Obama.

Don't engage the Meghan cult followers, people (and not just because of the ableist slurs). They think if they're abusive enough, they'll get this thread locked.

Although admittedly it's hard to discuss Harry's sad hibernation without their abuse or ableist vitriol, so I guess that's likely why these threads end up getting locked.

He really should lie low and not do anything public for a long while.

That report demonstrated his absolute lack of judgment on so many levels. First of all, thinking he Putin would sit for an interview with him to talk about his childhood. And not understanding how awful that would be, even if he would.

She clearly married him so she could get name recognition (most people didn't watch Suits and had no idea who she was until she started dating him), and if he was smart, he should've been able to figure out that she wanted more publicity, not less. They may love each other, but the celebrity lifestyle issue was a major mismatch.

It’s pretty simple. He knew marrying an American actress would annoy his family. This is a teenager who has never grown up.

Hence his exile (although why they chose LA leaves all of us wondering...).

Yes, I thought they were going to go to Canada. LA is not what comes to mind when I think “Quiet” and “private.”

Although Montecito — about 100 miles from LA might be closer to what comes to mind for many people when they think “quiet and private”.

MONTECITO and LA are quite different from each other. (Caps are for the benefit of the OP who wonders “why they chose LA”. They didn’t. Although I can imagine several reasons why they might. )

Ha ha tell me you’ve never lived in Montecito without telling me you’ve never lived in Montecito

I grew up there…it’s long been where all the celebrity/would be celebrities go when they want to pretend like they’re seeking a break from the spotlight but are actually still craving attention…decades before anyone had ever heard of Megan Markle

I always suspected this!

Add to that a hugely inflated ego. He doesn’t seem to realize he’s nothing without his connection to the royal family—which he trashed and then says crap like “I want a family not an institution.” Um you sure seem to dearly hold on to that institution’s titles for yourself and your wife and kids.

Yes. The British institution is thriving without H&M.... that's why their media posts about them constantly despite them not being there.

I have to admit, I barely followed the news, I just caught headlines. I didn't care. I saw those headlines about Meghan Markle having arguments over bridesmaids dresses and someone was in tears and I was like, ugh, whatever, so she's a bridezilla. Poor bridesmaid.

Thing is, I assumed the bridesmaid was a grown-ass woman. That would still be bad - making your adult bridesmaid feel bad about her dress doesn't really reflect well on you. But it's also normal dysfunctional behavior, so I'd just roll my eyes and forget about it. I had no interest in watching their wedding footage.

Then, after all this fresh garbage came out - Harry's memoir, the South Park episode, etc - I revisited that wedding story.

The bridesmaid Meghan Markle tried to bully was a TODDLER. I was stunned. I had no idea it was some tiny little child princess.

Oh hell no. NO. That is appalling. I have no idea how Kate Middleton must have felt. If that was my daughter, and then you put out the whole drama for the media to dissect, and then my daughter has to risk wearing an ill-tailored dress to the mostly publicized wedding of the year, I would TEAR MEGHAN APART.

Or rather, kid. Wouldn't be surprised if it's one person losing their grip and resorting to ableist slurs.

I can assure you that numerous posters think you and your MM hate-obsession are looney.
