Wedding Gifts for future daughter in law

Not a boomer. I think a family quilt if you have one would be a nice welcome to the family gift. Showing that you are willing to share a family piece with her, shows that you consider her a part of the family. We have a family quilt that we keep on the basement sofa for movie nights. I think my great grandmother would be thrilled to have her great great grand kids huddled under her handiwork.

Get her a hori hori knife for the garden. I wish I'd had one growing up on the farm. Our garden alone was over an acre. When my mom used mine, she had me order 4 more!

I’m a young(ish) gardener and I would love to have some really too-notch garden tools. I know the difference between cheap and really nice tools, but I don’t buy myself the nice ones because they are pricey. If your future DIL doesn’t already have a really nice set (ask your son!) you could buy her one. She’ll think fondly of you whenever she uses them!

I’m the gardener below you and yes—this is my most treasured garden tool!

Maybe an antique vase with her favorite flower on it .... something she can display in their home forever.

Very cool! Get one with the protective gloves.

Family gifts should be OFFERED to the blood family member. Not foisted, offered. Leave the married-ins out of it; too much pressure. I hate quilts and old-fashioned things. A gift should be about individual joy, not pressure. It’s not about you. It’s about her.

I would give her an heirloom, a piece of jewelry that is special to you passing it to her. Agree also with a classic Chanel bag or VCA necklace

New posters really need to read the original post and the other suggestions before posting!

Sigh... either ya'll just don't get it or you're trolling.

^ I think it is pretty, symbolic of family and love ❤️ and a classic. Most young brides do not buy this brand.

I actually agree with this. Or a Korean hand hoe (https://www.homedepot.com/p/DeWit-Korean-Hand-Hoe-Right-Hand-31-2906/301955988?source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&srsltid=ASuE1wQ7QW47LTQ5ZleTLb-xYvhKUv5iHbAGydxKuDVP-aZFLx3HKCAVvD4)
