More power to you, OP! Love hearing this and other positive stories about dating in your 40s. Recently divorced 44 and just went to a wedding where there were multiple interested parties- 2 were in their mid-late 30s, all cute, very nice, good personalities and fun to talk to. My ex beat my self esteem so low this shot of attention made me feel really good, good enough to venture out into the dating world. I think many of the divorced women here got out of crap marriages with crappy husbands so having some fun is really good for them/us. Plus, I’m loving the freedom of not having a would- he-make-a-good-husband/father checklist and instead looking at just how the person treats me and makes me feel. So freeing!
