I can’t imagine how many fake/counterfeit vaccination cards and reports there are out there. I bet about a good 20 percent of Covid vax reports for elementary students are fake. Probably more.

And since this is all CYA nonsense, the schools don’t care or confirm. They have no incentive to do so, as long as they “checked the box.” What a silly charade.

How could vax and masks be mandated after the the latest cdc guidelines? Some of these schools are over stepping. My daughter goes to St. Patrick’s and they are still requiring shots for any child 😳. Are any other schools still trying to pull this crap? Just curious. We are not going to be getting a shot when my daughter already has natural immunity. Are we following the science or playing politics at this point? It’s not enough for us to want to switch schools. Please let me know if your private is dropping these mandates. Like to see what schools are. Thanks. My family voted blue and will again in 2024 but we also look at the benefits and risks with vax. My 86 year old mother with cancer vaxxed and boosted. My 8 year old daughter who had Covid ( slight cold for two days) and has natural immunity does not need one. Please schools use common sense. ( and yes don’t worry i am contacting the school to discuss more not just yelling on a a message board). The nurse seems to like the control and is off the reservation about Covid. So don’t think there will be a change.

I can’t imagine many schools are going to mandate vaccinations for younger children. I’m guessing the 22-23 school year will be mask-optional and vaccine-optional. They won’t please everyone, but at least people can do what is best for their own families.

At my N-8 all students must be vaccinated. All teachers must be vaccinated and must get the booster. I am a parent at the school and a teacher. Don't agree with either. When does it stop? I am on four shots? I am under 40 and in great health. Have got covid. We have reached madness. I know we can't be the only DC private with these mandates. Can we hear from others? Has your school announced?

You are lying or you lied to whoever gave you your fourth shot. You aren’t allowed to get a fourth shot if you’re under fifty unless you are immunocompromised.

Omg vax mandates for kids who have already had Covid??? Not surprised. St. Patrick’s has been lost for the last few years.. Politics over education at that place. We left. Good luck. I know that nurse well. 😳 she will probably mandate the next shot also. Follow the science. Kids who have had Covid don’t need shots. Not that hard.

Lowell - vax plus booster for 5+. Will do it but kids are vaxxed and had covid and I would prefer to wait for an omicron booster at this point than get the old one and potentially have to wait for omicron booster if it comes out. Honestly just want to be making these on the margin decisions with my doctor and my family at this point.

No requirement for under 5. Not sure I understand the rationale for requiring everyone but the youngest.

100 percent should be between parents and doctors at this point. Such an over reach. Not surprised two schools listed here are in DC.

We are in VA private no mandates. Masks and shots optional. We all should be making are own choices at this point.

Same. Not sure how schools after CDC released new guidelines can be doing this. This is a choice between a parent and a doctor. I would push back especially if my child already had covid. This town there will be lawsuits coming down the pike I am sure.
