Masks in the fall?

It isn't actually COVID or masking mandates that scare me the most. It is knowing that I am in a school where this kind of mean-spirited, toxic, hateful, vitriol is handed out so freely by wolves in sheep's clothing.

You think masks aren’t good for kids because it bothers you.

It impacts socialization. My child is going into a new school and I don't want her dealing with not being to read social cues. Masking absolutely harms socialization, especially for new students.

You don’t know that and it’s something you’ve made it or some nonsense you heard.

It's neither. It's common sense. I experienced myself when everyone was masking. You can't tell if someone is smiling or frowning. It is unhealthy psychologically. I don't need an article or study to tell me that.

Keep holding on to covid. Follow the science. You can hide, get 15 boosters of the same formula that does not work, wear a mask, and pick up your kid at lunch. Crazy people can’t let go.

Any other psychological insights you care to pull out of your ass?

You're the one pulling things out of your ass, and it's based on you clinging to COVID-19 hysteria. Here's a tip: we all had to suffer through an insane overreaction to COVID-19 because the media and Democratic politicians overhyped the threat to the general population as part of their overall strategy to damage Donald Trump and the GOP. Well, Donald Trump lost, so now you can stop inflicting the damage. Thank you.

Overhyped? One million Americans have died from this virus. The average life expectancy in our country has declined substantially in two years. Thousands are still dying from COVID every week. Does that not matter to you?

It’s the minimizers that are the problem.

Also, Donald Trump did his own damage to himself and the GOP.

You’re a fool. Most of those people died “with Covid-19” not “from Covid-19.” If you are young and healthy, you are not at substantial risk of dying from Covid-19. We were told otherwise (and people bought into it) because it fit a political agenda. There were much better ways to deal with the pandemic, including focusing on protecting the elderly and other vulnerable people. Instead, we got schools that were shutdown, and outdoor parks that were closed, along with people yelling at others for not wearing a mask while walking down the street outside and entirely alone. What the Democrats and the media did with Covid-19 is completely unforgivable.

Covidiots are never going to let this go. Masks and boosters forever. It’s so scary. The worse part these people are in positions of power making these choices. Clown world!

We all thank God you’re not in charge! School is starting in many areas; find an elementary one to enroll.

Lol great pick your kid up at lunch, wear three masks and take 15 boosters then rest of us are following the science.

Wearing a mask is science, moron.

I'm going to let my teens make their own decision after we talk about the issue. Regardless of whether they mask, if they have symptoms, they have to test, and if positive, follow public health guidance by isolating for 5 days and wearing masks for another 5 after returning (assuming that they were better). They don't get to guess whether mild symptoms might be COVID and continue their activities. As long as they are ok with an increased possibility of getting sick and missing time during the season of their primary sport, they can opt not to mask this year.

I’d expect most teens to lie if given these ultimatums by their parents.
