I’d refuse until they figure out the effects on the menstrual cycle and why it occurred. I am vaccinated and don’t care as I’m through having kids. But I would be rather nervous vaccinating a five year old girl and like you say, most kids have very mild COVID or asymptomatic, which pre-covid was called not being sick.

Agree. To mandate a shot right now is crazy. The risks are not worth what the rewards in young healthy people. I do believe that vaccines are important for high risk groups. That's not the case with the youth. That's just the science if we are going to continue to follow. Kids are not dying from covid.

Your private school just sent you a vaccine?

I can’t imagine many schools are going to mandate vaccinations for younger children. I’m guessing the 22-23 school year will be mask-optional and vaccine-optional. They won’t please everyone, but at least people can do what is best for their own families.

Your private school just sent you a vaccine?

I can’t imagine many schools are going to mandate vaccinations for younger children. I’m guessing the 22-23 school year will be mask-optional and vaccine-optional. They won’t please everyone, but at least people can do what is best for their own families.

At my N-8 all students must be vaccinated. All teachers must be vaccinated and must get the booster. I am a parent at the school and a teacher. Don't agree with either. When does it stop? I am on four shots? I am under 40 and in great health. Have got covid. We have reached madness. I know we can't be the only DC private with these mandates. Can we hear from others? Has your school announced?

Crazy liberal schools will have masks and vax mandates. We can list them now without asking. Don’t let your school nurse be the expert on getting your five year old vaccinated for no reason.

It’s the DC health requirements. It’s actually good that DC has the same requirements for public and private schools.

It’s the DC health requirements. It’s actually good that DC has the same requirements for public and private schools.

DC health vaccine mandate does not apply to ES students. No fda approved vaccines are available for 5 to 11.

The cdc has not published a single thing about effectiveness of boosters for those under 60. These silly requirements for booster that last 3 or 4 months at best is illogical. Enough.

Agreed a better booster. ^ 2.0 vaccines, for which research is currently underfunded.
