ok, so no one is without fault. But we are talking about a country that is currently engaging in genocide against one of their ethnic minorities and has has violently seized power over HK. They kill and/or disappear ANYONE who disagrees with the gov't. They are also helping other oppressive regimes and raping the third world for resources. And the world is supposed to just say "That's just China being China"?

Two citizenships is just that; you hold two passports. Or more. When you're in one country, you're treated as a citizen of that country. When you're in the other country, you're treated as a citizen of that country. Both countries behave as if in their eyes, your "other" citizenship does not exist.

Can you give an example of a dual citizenship situation? I've never heard of a second citizenship making a difference in how you're treated by the other country that you're a citizen of.

The CCP killed millions of their own people during the 20th century. They are ethnic cleansing Uyghurs. They are cleansing out Mongolians in Inner Mongolia, which is a territory they invaded and annexed. Sure, the US has made many gaffes in its history and it has done bad things. Unlike China or Russia, however, at least our citizens talk about it and are open to criticizing it. We even protest over it. If you look at enough history, no country ever has a clean conscience/slate. It's a tired and true tactic of CCP and Russian propagandist mouthpieces to always divert to whataboutisms and history in order to try to deflect. How much do you get paid per hour over there in Beijing?

So much hatred in this thread. Way to go! I would like to see the posters get off their obese American asses and try to skate or ski at the level these young women do. If you are not aware, the United States or private companies do not invest a penny in growing athletes like other countries do. They provide literal nothing. The parents of these women paid for private lessons, equipment, coaches etc so they don’t owe anything to this country. Nothing .
