Give peace a chance?  Just look at China’s actions towards the people of Hong Kong and Taiwan in recent years.  Not sure how the IOC could talk about “peace” with China with a straight face.

US is not so much peace loving either, according to Jimmy Carter (see the leak below), and invaded Iraq for manufactured allegations that resulted in tens of thousands of civilian deaths.

The CCP killed millions of their own people during the 20th century.  They are ethnic cleansing Uyghurs.  They are cleansing out Mongolians in Inner Mongolia, which is a territory they invaded and annexed.  I love how one has to come from a country with a 100% clean record of morality in order to be able to lodge any criticisms of current ongoing issues that are wrong.  Sure, the US has made many gaffes in its history and it has done bad things.  Unlike China or Russia, however, at least our citizens talk about it and are open to criticizing it.  We even protest over it.  If you look at enough history, no country ever has a clean conscience/slate.  It's a tired and true tactic of CCP and Russian propagandist mouthpieces to always divert to whataboutisms and history in order to try to deflect.  How much do you get paid per hour over there in Beijing?[/quote]
