Germany's fine and onboard. Their foreign minister already said nordstream is on the table if there's an invasion.

Please remember that Russia's whole tactic has been divide and conquer. We either stand together and win or stand alone and lose. Germany is not going to destroy NATO and blow up the entire world order for a few pfennigs.

This is 100% false…Putin would never have tried this under Trump. Putin knows he has to strike now while Biden will let him. Biden just said a “minor incursion” will be ignored…Everyone, including Russia, knows Biden will give Putin a slap on the wrist, despite Blinken’s attempts to walk that comment back. Also, please note NATO is well armed and prepared because Trump made countries step up and contribute. NATO’s VJTF can act if necessary, and doesn’t need the US. France, the UK, and Poland will also do the right thing. Biden has already screwed this up. Let’s hope Americans can exit before it’s another CF like Afghanistan. Please provide sources for your claim that Fox News and “Trumpublicans” support Russia.

I’m a DP, but you make you zero sense. Don’t you remember what happened with Syria?? Don’t you remember the last time Putin invaded Ukraine and seized Crimea? It was under Obama and Putin knows he can get away with it again because Biden will let him. Trump was going to pull out of NATO when other countries weren’t paying their fair share. That was eons ago. The Democrats chastised Trump, but he was absolutely right and because of his actions NATO countries contributed more and NATO is now in a place of strength.

Russia had a lot of internal support for retaking Crimea. But there is far less internal support and interest in Donbas, let alone the rest of Ukraine. So internally he would have resistance as well. And now he risks losing Nord Stream, he risks sanctions and risks being unplugged from SWIFT breaking international financial transactions. It could completely destroy Russia's economy.

If Putin is serious, he is insane. If he is saber rattling, he is doing a poor job of it.

Liberals are happy because of humanitarian concerns

Conservatives happy because Ukrainians are “white” in the American sense of the word

Business owners are happy because huge influx of workers

Men are happy because Ukrainian women are thinner

Women are happy bedside supply chain /small businesses they frequent are better staffed (remember women do most Econ activity in a household so supply chain/smb labor shortage annoys them the most)
