Correct, if we didn't go in during the convoy stage with F16 donations or drones, it's Annex Talks in a year.
No better options in Jan, in Feb, in March, in April, in May, in June...

Just biding time, wasting money and human lives until Putin writes his Annexation ticket, to augment his Crimea invasion during the Obama years.

Oh I think Putin is biding time. But what I think he is doing during this time is desperately trying to come up with an actual nuclear bomb of some sort. Either dragging some hapless Russian individuals into checking one they already had from way back when to see if it was ever actually viable or getting them to build a new one. I wouldn’t be shocked if he had lured some N. Koreans with the promise of freedom and luxury life in Russia in exchange for help. Because at this point exploiting vulnerable and desperate people is the only way he is getting help.

How are they winning when Russia is capturing more cities in the east. Stop the nonsense. We paying a huge price by running our economy into a recession to save Ukrainians? We are being played. We are stupid. They are no different from Russians.

I spent many many years studying the Soviet Union and Russia. I am so upset about what they have become. I know their history is very different from ours, but there are also actually many similarities. It’s a horrifying lesson in what happens when people stop believing that good governance is possible and just are looking out for their own economic interests. I think the majority of Russians have no belief they can effect any change in how their country is run and have been willing to hand it over to soulless criminals in order to live relatively comfortably. And now they are in a state of deep denial about what is going on, and the responsibility they bear.

I wonder if Navalny thought his countrymen would be out in the street for him, or if he knew he was sacrificing himself for nothing. People only care enough to follow someone on YouTube and make cynical comments over a cup of tea or vodka. No one cares enough to make anything change.

unity under russia command is similar to unity under nazi command. the russians are the new nazis.
