Vent: “gift” of a trip that I don’t want and requires me to spend lots of money and time

I am a boomer myself and what I find so strange about our generation is the image to stay children forever. In previous generations people prided themselves on becoming adults. That is I am a man with a man’s responsibilities in life. Or I am a woman now and put childish things behind me. Doesn’t seem to be the mindset. Which has nothing to do with heheh thread. Just a thought.
