I see you're doubling-down on calling people "irrational" when they choose to vote for Republicans. Or "losers". Either way, I will so enjoy 2024. Have a great night! |
It's amusing that you think you are smarter and more savvy than a "first time R voter." With every post, you're just making a bigger fool of yourself. Your grapes really are sour, aren't they? |
You are correct about that - you just don't seem to realize how many "liberals" are posting exactly the same talking point, catchphrases, and adjectives. Oh, calling people imbeciles, etc. I guess when your fellow liberals do it, it doesn't count, amirite? |
I didn't realize the Big 3 are charter schools! Tell us more! DP |
Obviously private schools aren’t inclusive. What a weird comment. The topic is public schools that have a mission to serve all kids and build our community. It’s such a shame that public schools are going to suffer under Youngkin. |
DP. We know you're crossing your fingers and hoping this comes to be. So disgusting. Youngkin is a breath of fresh air who I think will be great for VA. |
The local Democrat School Boards have done anything but create a culture in which public schools serve our communities. Instead, they serve teachers’ organizations, fringe groups, and the personal agendas of corrupt, hypocritical SB members. I can’t wait for Youngkin to unleash reforms that make these people eat sh*t. |
Youngkin can’t do anything about local school boards. Not that you care about reality. |
No. People who actually care about their public schools and community DO NOT want vouchers. Rs send their kids to private schools so they DGAF if they kill public schools in the process of getting private school subsidized. |
Well, are you a “first time R voter”? Do you support vouchers? Do you understand what they do to public schools? Show us those big brains. |
Are people really that stupid that they would change their vote based on anonymous comments on a mommy forum?
This goes way beyond “irrational”. That is straight-up dumb AF. |
Uh, no. I’m an “R” and my kids attend public school - along with many other children of “R” parents. We’re not talking about vouchers here - we’re talking about PUBLIC charter schools. Educate yourself. |
Do you even understand what public charter schools are? Hint: they don’t involve vouchers which allow you to send your child to private. Learn the difference before ignorantly spouting off. https://www.edchoice.org/school-choice/types-of-school-choice/ |
You are uninformed. We are talking about vouchers too. |

Here are all of the VOUCHER activists that Youngkin has selected for his team:
Lindsey Burke - wants to defund public schools with a voucher plan similar to WV https://www.heritage.org/staff/lindsey-burke https://www.heritage.org/education/commentary/virginia-election-outcome-was-about-education-here-are-4-actions-youngkin Kay James - mega conservative/religious and also wants school choice https://www.heritage.org/staff/kay-c-james https://www.heritage.org/press/gov-elect-youngkin-appoints-heritage-foundations-kay-james-co-chairman-transition And Nate Bailey was DeVos’ freakin’ chief of staff. https://conferences.shrm.org/presenter/nate-bailey You do know how that has played out in other states, right? All of the wealthy parents will use vouchers to subsidize their private education. It will do little to support lower-income students. So the rich kids will be off to privates/religious schools while the poor kids are left behind in schools with significantly less funding. It will be a death spiral for public schools. That is bad news for public schools. Good news for private schools. |
