No, they would NOT charge the boyfriend anyway. That's not how it works. You can't possibly be this naive, can you? |

Over an hour of police body cam footage:
|
Yeah but what about her? The report says she started it by slapping Brian. I think they're both mentally unstable and it's unfortunate they weren't taking medication. |
Initial comments from Websleuths on the video:

It’s totally her fault that he likely brutally murdered her and disposed of her in a fun-filled cross-country journey, and is now stonewalling her parents. Totally think she should be taking responsibility post-mortem. Do you have a blog or site you can share where you post your other insights? I’d love to add a follow. |

He's a scumbag.....but he's doing the "smart" thing if he's trying to avoid prosecution and conviction. He's exercising the full extent of his rights. The police will need to do all the work to build a case and that's really hard to do without a body.
There is no requirement to ever talk to the police, the FBI, Congress, etc. The only time you have to talk is when compelled by the courts. And even then, you can claim the 5th Amendment or simply answer "I do not recall." Watch some of the videos of Donald Trump in legal depositions. He's actually really smart and a master at not providing any information to opposing attorneys. He pretty much always answers "I do not recall" to any question that may open himself to liability or other lines of questioning. If you stonewall at every turn, you can very likely get away with whatever you did. |

They released the body camera footage of the cops interviewing the couple post-conflict. The LEO says they were doing 45 MPH in a 15 MPH area and driving under intoxication. The boyfriend was the one driving and she was crying before the cop even got there. Her words were extremely rushed and disconnected. She was jumping from subject to subject like she was high.
I didn't watch the whole thing because its an hour long but I wonder if she told her parents about this incident? |
Case solved by the arm chair detective! |
| Confirms the concept of many mentally ill people in prison which is where he will end up. |
| I didn't watch the whole video, just skipped through it. Why does he get the comfy motel but she doesn't? At the end officer recommends a place where she can shower up for $5. Why didn't he put her in a hotel too? Especially after she tells him that she doesn't usually drive the van, and she appears to be nervous about driving on her own. I wish at this time she called her mom and told her what was going on. Then made plans to just come back home. |
THIS. ALL OF THE ABOVE. I am the PP who read the police reports and posted that as someone who has experienced that type of abuse, those police reports were full of red flags about Brian. This video confirms it. And yes, most police officers are ill-equipped to see what is REALLY going on. That video is horrible to watch. Brian is a sociopath and I hope the investigative work on this case brings justice for Gabby and her family. Just horrendous. I cannot imagine being her parents and watching that; sickening to see her so distraught and sickening to watch his performance. |
Yes, that's (non white) parenting 101. Any police interaction, including so called routine traffic stops, you must check in with your family. You must call your parents asap |
Anyone who's dealt with a domestic abuse situation can recognize right away what's going on here. This is really hard to watch, knowing what we know now. |
| After watching the video, I feel like it's two people who have spent entirely too much time together on the road. And they're just sick of each other at this point. But in the name of social media and YouTube they felt the need to carry on. It's a cautionary tale for others. The van life is not this care-free fun lifestyle. |
They only started the van scenario in June 2021 of this year. Sounds like neither thought it through. She wanted to start a juice bar or something -- how does that equate to live in a van and travel to national parks? |
