He drove her van back across the country without her to his home in FL. That is definitely the behavior of someone with something to hide. If my husband fell off a cliff, I would dial 911, not hope that no one noticed or found his body. |
*slow clap* |
Only if he did something wrong. An innocent person would provide police and the family with the information they needed. |
He's clearly NOT innocent. Can he be convicted in the US court system? Not at the moment. Doesn't mean he's morally free and clear. This will follow him for the rest of his life, as it should for scumbags like him. |
Wow - what exactly did the witness see that made him call the cops and “fear the worst”? That’s really, really bad. |
- and the police would charge the boyfriend anyway, and try to put an innocent man in jail. This is how it works. Their job is to win convictions, not to determine actual guilt. You can’t possibly be this naive, can you? The kid is exercising his rights and pursuing the wisest strategy for avoiding a long prison sentence for something he may, or may not, have done. |
| Thank you all for posting web highlights. Very nice for lazy me. |
Speaking as someone who has experienced emotional and psychological abuse and the insidious nature of it, as well as how abusers are well-versed at making the other person feel or look "crazy/crazier", these reports raised a lot of red flags in my mind when it comes to Brian. |
Do we have clarity on whose van it is? If it is her van, things seem much more suspicious than if not (though it’s still super suspicious). |
Its hers. Her family confirmed that. So not only did he abandon her, steal her property, and drive cross country but he took the van to his parents house and didn't alert the proper owners (her parents) about the broken chain of custody for more than two weeks. Dude is both an idiot and a murderer. I hope they find the girl but I want to see him doing 50 years in Florida's worst prison regardless. |
Very telling. I don't think it's hard to conclude that they had another altercation that didn't end well. But why didn't they just call in quits and go home? Why continue on despite a deteriorating relationship? |
Titled in her name, but it appears he did put money and lots of man hours into the conversion/maintenance of the van. In their YouTube and IG videos she says “our van.” If they were married, it would clearly be community property. The ownership chain isn’t that relevant, imho. To me, the most eye opening element is that he drove their van cross-country without her. |
Why are all the couples in the relationship forum fighting during Covid still married? One woman says her husband shoved her to the floor and another posted this week that the DH is routinely cursing her out.
|
Ok but in this case they aren't married. There aren't any children in the relationship. It's much easier to break away.. |
+1. I had the same feeling. |
