If a police officer’s duty is to protect and serve, they did the opposite on 8/12 in Moab.
To let an emotional, crying girl drive off in a desert to fend for herself for the night is neglectful.
Period.
To let a non-profit cover the cost of a hotel room for a Male over a Female in the middle of nowhere makes zero sense in my humble opinion.

Gabby had no idea where she was at or where she was going to park her van and sleep for the night.
And yet Brian was set up with his own space for the night.
He had access to a comfortable bed, hot water, privacy, security and likely a/c.
All because of some clueless police officials.

Gabby - as an adult, chose to buy a van, redo the van, drive the van 3000 miles to the west coast, quit her life and take on the "van life." She should have been capable of living one day in the van alone. She wasn't 12 and kidnapped.

This. I don't like driving large vehicles either. Which is why you won't see me electing to travel cross-country in a van I can't handle, in remote regions where help and gas stations are 50 miles away, and fully dependent on someone's good graces.

The van was a stupid choice. Its like choosing to be a dog groomer when you have a fear of dogs.

You are asking way too much “they shouldn’t have let her drive off by herself” You think a young woman is not capable of taking care of herself ON HER OWN PLANNED VACATION for one night?? That’s a very demeaning and paternalistic POV, IMO.

OMG - thank you. There is only so much a police officer can do. They gave her ample time to get help but they can't force her to ask for it. I understand...the abuser/victim issue, but these police officers are not going to solve this in a 90 minute traffic stop.

She did not deserve to die. Period. Full stop. However, the world cannot intervene in other people's relationships that appear abusive or are emotional and pull the women out and save them. It doesn't work that way. If her loved ones didn't do it, a stranger is not going to.

Regarding the police and the second 911 call - how is that supposed to work? They were working off info from the first call by the witness that saw her as the aggressor, but when/where should the information from the second call by the other witness who saw him hitting her had gone? Can the dispatcher radio them the info once they’ve been assigned and on their way? Anyone know how this is supposed to work?

I know the police say the deaths of the two Moonflower employees is a coincidence, yet it’s still so weird. Were the two women still alive when the altercation between Brian and Gabby took place near Moonflower?

This case made me search about bodies found in the desert. It’s sounding like murdered people are dumped there quite a bit and some think it’s because it’s partly due to what’s depicted in movies. Someone said they think there’s a serial killer in WY who is killing indigenous women, because so many disappear.

I love the desert but my active imagination has me feeling uncomfortable about the more remote and primitive areas.

It’s also so sad to see that humans just dump others like they are a garbage bag.

+1

Even if BL did hit her if she didn't want to press charges or do anything about it there is nothing the cops could have done. She had a night to leave him, get away, call her family for help, whatever and she didn't do it. Maybe she was brainwashed, mentally unstable and abused, it's likely, but there was nothing the cops could have done at that moment.

If her family couldn't see the issues in their relationship how the hell were the cops suppose to in a 90 min stop?

If Laundrie is still alive, he will run out of money, food, and water. It's only a matter of time.

To add, it also appears to be a backpack similar to one he has carried.

That does indeed look like him.

He started growing his hair looks like.

that is totally him.

Cops already said it’s not

Link because that's wrong.

I think he killed her because she was thinking of breaking up with him. I don't think he would've killed her for being pregnant.

I think he got drunk at Bullwinkle bar (look it up) and came back and killed her in her sleep

He was re-posting dark content on Pinterest in relation to a baby and they both had pumpkin-baby related content on their social media accounts

Also people are speculating she was already dead on August 25th when she posted this with a simple two-word phrase 'Happy Halloween' on Instagram. Because Gabby usually posted an entire paragraph of back-story for every picture and appropriate social media hashtags. Also she would know not to post a Halloween picture in August.

It was content she prepping for Halloween and could have been used for a cute 'little baby pumpkin coming - Happy Halloween' announcement.

Did someone say Gabby videoed a relative Aug 25th? or was it just like texting 25th to 27th?

You're looking at the wrong things. The guy in the photo has a bigger body and a different shaped head, his face has a different shape, too.

SO MANY GUYS LOOK LIKE THIS. SO MANY!

People here keep saying it was her van. He had nowhere to sleep, she had her van. You can’t have it both ways.

If you want to say it’s her van and he stole it and drove it to Florida, you can’t say the cops should have let him have it a week before….

The last time she Facetimed her mother was reportedly 'around' August 25th.

The last time she Facetimed her father and stepmother was on August 21st.
