Madison has a bye. SL vs Chantilly tonight.

Robinson beats Oakton if they match up after Districts.

Ohhh. Thanks for the clarification. I thought I read Madison SL.

Winner sees Madison on Friday. I'd like to see SL take on Madison again.

Neither team comes close to beating Oakton so all for nothing

Only Centreville has the talent to challenge Oakton. Wildcats versus Cougars!!

Talent yes! But Oakton has both the coaching and unselfish team play.

Oakton doesn't have the bbq platter and no one wants to walk up tha d*mn hill to get to their rinky dink stadium. How do they keep that POC when the rest of the area around it has been redone. Hope they lose early.

More importantly will they have the bbq platter available? Could be enough to make me pull for them, just so there could be more BBQ platter opportunities.

Even if Centerville wins, the next game will be away, so no BBQ unless Oakton gets a smoker.

Oakton does not have team chemistry and team coaching, thats very laughable. It's one Oakton parent who keeps pumping up the program and making it seem as they are the best thing in over 20 years of pub school lacrosse. The reality is, they basically have 2 players maybe 3 that does all the scoring and real threats. Most of the better players look for each other and will not pass the ball to others as they are open. You can easily spot this trend, when my daughters team played Oakton, I witnessed first hand basically feeding coming from the left side to only 2-3 players. In the publics eye, everything is awesome with Oakton, but behind the scenes you will get the truth. When players are off the field and with others, the truth always comes out.
Not taking away from the talent level they have and not saying they aren't the favorite to win it all, but it's not all smooth sailing internally, but what program doesnt have issues. Seems like any high school aged team has some issues at some point.

I'll take Cville and Madison for the win, then Oakton for the district champs.

Seriously, someone is spending too much time in the smoker. Just off the top of my head, Oakton players #4, #5, #8, #11, #14, #21, and #24 all scored in the Chantilly game. The scoring was not all that diverse last season, but this season is an entirely different story.

Sadly, no BBQ tonight. We talked about doing Taco Tuesday but I don't think I can get off work early enough to make it happen.

First of all, why would we not hype and pump up our daughters' G-Lax program? Who would we cheer for? They all worked hard to be where they are 14-0 and how do you know about our program's behind the scenes? You claimed that your daughters' team played Oakton so you are not even an Oakton parent, so how do you know so much about Oakton? I have known these girls for years and I still don't know the truth (What is the truth), What are you talking about? I do agree that there is no perfect team and no smooth sailing but please let our girls enjoy this moment with support from LAX families.

Centreville doesn't have good coaching or doesn't play as a team? Do you have more details on this opinion?

Oakton has solid senior leadership and experience. Bodes well as they have all experienced big games this year and last 2 years. Good role models for younger players. Guess we will see come Friday. Put up or shut up.

13-0 Wakefield kept you from a win...
