Except a majority of Americans do NOT want a border wall. So no.

I am not so sure. There has been only one candidate whose opening remarks were building a wall, and that guy won the election on his first try.

And lost the popular vote by more than 3 million and got historically crushed in the midterms. He is only President because of the Electoral College. But no, the majority of Americans overwhelmingly oppose spending money on the wall. Remember, Trump campaigned that Mexico was going to pay for it. So why are our Federal employees being squeezed?

We don't have a system of electing president by popular votes. R expanded its senate majority in the midterms. There is no definitive answer as to whether a majority of Americans want a wall. The only things are definitive -- Trump is the president, R controls the senate, and D controls the house. It appears 2/3 wants a wall.

he lost by 3 million votes and he campaigned on border crisis and lost BY A LOT IN 2018. So Dems got the house back.

The GOP has won the popular vote JUST ONCE SINCE 1988. That is how bad the party is perceived by Americans. And then in 2018 the campaign is about border crisis and yet the dems won by 9% and got 40 house seats. If the GOP is proud about winning ND,IN and Mo, then the party is done. The dems won big in new states such as GA, AZ while traditional dem states stayed with them.

We don't have system where the President + one House of Congress overrules the other House.

And as for what the majority want, they have polls for that. Polls do in fact provide definitive answers on what the majority of people want.

Tough to deal when your alleged negotiating party just keeps saying no, right? It’s kind of like Trump is seeking peace from the Palestinian side and Demicrats are the Likud Party. No, no, no!

The conman can only con poorly educated people. The deal he offered is no deal. He created the DACA issue by harassing the DACA recipients. And now he offers a deal he won't harass them for 3 years. Thats no deal. Thats hostage taking and blackmailing. He can only fool his cult NOT the rest of the world who can think.

Not sure what to make of this weird word salad.

Not PP. But if you don't understand, maybe you need to take some English language for foreigners course.

Seems like Trump has made a proposal? What is Team Nancy doing to help feds?

I've lost count of the number of appropriation bills she has passed recently to reopen the government. Maybe you can look it up if you're interested.

Here’s the thing. That’s not negotiating. Republicans control the Senate and the Presidency (the last one is tough to believe, right?). So she has to make serious, reasonable proposals in response to these dynamics. Doing something that Mitch has said won’t happen is not serious on these circumstances. It’s a face saving gesture for her gullible base.

Don't lie. This is all about Trump. The House passed the same budget that made it unanimously through the Senate last month, but then Speaker Ryan refused to bring up in the House. The only thing that changed between the two votes was Trump said he wouldn't sign the budget.

+1

We had a passable budget. Figure it out, GOP.

It's not passable if Trump won't sign. Pelosi needs to send up a bill that includes most of what Trump wants, but not everything - or, everything that Trump wants, and a bit more that Nancy wants. It's called negotiation.

Conman trump hasn't made any deal. He created DACA crisis and now wants to give a temporary solution in exchange for a permanent wall. this may fool his cult but not the majority of Americans.

2/3 PP isn’t just an idiot— he’s not American and is here to sow dissent.

Yep.

And don't forget 1/3 of the federal workforce is made up of vets.

IRS workers using financial hardship to stay furloughed. I mentioned it a couple days ago, these are low paid employees. The people processing tax returns are not DC area GS14’s. These are GS-2’s.- 6 or 7. Some might even be 8’s. Many are being paid $15/hr or less and cannot afford to go to work if they aren’t being paid.

Look at the aggregate raw vote totals for GOP v Dems in the House, the Senate and the Executive. Are you really this obtuse?

He is. He is either the kind of or the literal poster who argued running up to 2016 that votes should be “attached to land” in perpetuity.

In February, not this week.

McConnell is abdicating his duty in the Senate and is a traitor to the people of the United States of America.
