The president made the rare candid admission during a softball interview on the right-wing One America News network that was taped Wednesday.” https://apple.news/AsulIRxWgTYOTObH1jQ2ukQ |
| Which is why they are so desperate to overtake blue cities and gerrymander what remains of "fair" seats in the House. |
Think he is somewhat sensitive to poll numbers even if not consistent about it. Miller, OTOH, does not care one whit and there is no brake on either him or Vought. |

Trump is never running again. He doesn't care about you, me or future elections. He is close to death. How exactly is he doing his best to ensure free and fair elections? Find a brain. |
He is not close to death. Plus Steven miller is the one that’s actually running things and fully executing his plans while trump distracts |
You have no clue how much of a control freak know-it-all Trump is if you think "Steven Miller" is "running things". Try again. |

Both are true - Trump cares deeply about his popularity and needs to be recognized as the leader, yet he also suffers from a short attention span and allows Hegseth, Miller, and Vought to do what they want until he tells them to stop. Then the cycle starts over. |

52% of Americans say Trump is “doing what he promised.” But not all those people *like* what he’s doing! That is key context for interpreting this number, but was notable missing from a viral CNN segment (that the White House later turned into a press release)
https://www.gelliottmorris.com/p/is-trump-doing-what-he-promised-weekly IOW, if I were asked if trump is doing what he promised and I recall during the election that he said he would impost tariffs, gut the tax system to favor billionaires and impose immigration tactics, then I would way, "yes he is doing what he promised" but that doesn't mean I agree with him. But here is CNN touting 52% of Americans agree Trump is doing what he promised. That isn't an approval rating. |

It's astounding that he and Noem and the rest of them act like they have some kind of overwhelming mandate.
"Many people are saying..." THEY DON'T. A majority of people are saying Trump doesn't have a mandate and the polls prove it. |
|
They never even had a majority support of voters. Trump won both elections by electoral college victories, and the second one, he had more votes than Harris, but was still below 50% of voters.
there has never been a mandate |
