Soccer
| Seems like the sort of thing you would update. |
| Go have a beer and chill. He is gone. Just like any business not all paperwork has been updated. Bad news, CC and ED still around. |
Except he actually does possess ownership stake of the organization. So, it begs the question: What exactly is VR$C? Clearly, not in the business of youth soccer development. |
Yes, but not likely much longer. They don’t like being held accountable. For anything. |
LOL. Two games in to the U17 Bracket and two ECNL teams have already lost to GA teams. Bethesda lost to a mediocre GA team 2-0 yet GA players can't start for an ECNL team. You are that ECNL parent. |
Only stat that matters and I'm the original poster. 2026 class of D1 commits 64%–75% are ECNL and 18%–20% are GA. VDA has become the top girls club in the area, hands down. |
So the OP started a thread about VRSC with nothing but trash in it but called it no drama. Got it. I don’t see where anyone questioned that VDA is the top Girls Club, like anywhere. The only thing I know is BP gets recruits every year into P4 schools who are not on that level and end up quitting. |
Why is revolution such a fraud? I want to play soccer travel but the other Leesburg club is also plagued with grifters. |
All soccer clubs are the same. If your DC is happy where they play, shut up and let them enjoy it. Stay out of the gossip and politics and just enjoy watching your DC have fun. |
Every thread ends up saying the same thing about this club, and honestly, it’s not wrong. At the core, it feels like they’re trying to be something they’re not. This could be a really solid mid level club. The pieces are there. But instead, there’s this constant push to act like they’re above everyone else, and it comes off forced. The whole “pathway to the pros” thing doesn’t feel real. Sending a couple kids to train at LU isn’t some proven system, it feels more like something to point to for marketing. Real development should speak for itself. And the culture is tough to ignore. There’s clear favoritism, blurred lines, and way too much noise from parents. You hear things that just don’t sit right. At times it feels more like drama than a serious environment for kids. We’ve been here for two years and have made a point to stay out of all of it. I sit away from the parents. I go to the tournaments, keep my head down, and just listen to everyone picking apart the coaches and decisions. Everyone thinks they know better. At the end of the day, it just feels like the club would be better off leaning into what it actually is instead of trying so hard to be something else. |
Good luck at your next club. Outside of VDA and Arlington, it will be just as bad and some Clubs are even worse. Jokes on you. |
Wow, where did you get so enlightened on the inner workings of every club in the DMV to make such an informed decision. You are incredibly insightful. Or full of …. |
Sometimes things don’t work out and you need to move on. That’s ok. What do you hope to accomplish by posting your feelings here? Is it just to vent? Get others to leave too? Hope someone from the club reads this and it makes them completely change how they do everything because some random on the internet gave feedback? |
I think you're speaking to the DC. |
09s lost to an RL team? |
