| I saw a good quote that I will summarize as such. Most politicians are successful when they do good things for their constituents. Trump's supporters see Trump as successful when he does bad things to people they don't like, regardless of the impact on themselves. As such, the worse Trump is for "the libs" or "immigrants" etc, the more successful he is seen through the eyes of his MAGA supporters. |
| Trump at 35% approval on "free speech" in new Economist/YouGov poll. |
This is a confounding, yet common thing in human nature. There are plenty of studies that show people will lower their own gain as long as it is larger than someone else’s. |
Where is she getting that money from? NY can't print money. Is she shrinking the state to let people make their own better decisions about how to spend money? Or is she mortgaging NY's future? |
246 days into Donald Trump's term The president's net approval rating is -17%, down 0.2 points since last week. 39% approve, 56% disapprove, 4% not sure |
That's not a Presidential approval poll. In normal times, "wrong direction" means "needs new leadership". But now the President is so much more polarizing than anyone in history, "wrong direction" could also mean "not supporting the president" to some respondents. |
The money is from the increase in sales taxes that NYS will receive due to Trump's tariffs. Not only do you pay a tax in the form of a tariff but you also pay a tax on the tax. |
Sure sure any excuse will do. |

And, yet when Dems said they disapproved of their party I was told here it was because they were now turning to MAGA. Can you please keep your story straight. |
Well, joke's on them, because MAGA voters will suffer the most - give it a few more months. |
| In the new Reuters/Ipsos poll Trump came in at 28% approval on cost of living. |
| Can someone please fire this ahole already? We are so done. Next! |
