I think it makes all the sense in the world for OP to lie out the lie she was told for Uncle J to confirm or deny various parts of it. Clearly he wasn't in Maine, since we all saw his awesome family Easter and knew where that had taken place. But him confirming it and saying "I wasn't in Maine, I wasn't planning to be in Maine and I haven't spoken to SV in 2 years" is pretty definitive. I want to know what the other stuff is.

OP here: if the state police call me back and say he's happily sitting at home, I'm going to want to drive up there and flip the f*** out on him but I'll control myself and just realize he was POS like I should have known all along. If he's still MIA, idk what then but Uncle J said that his father knows the grandparents info to give to me if it gets to that point.
