The club is not struggling they are growing. The only measure that matters is paying customers and those numbers are growing every year.

Ok KS.

Girls coaches here don’t have your back. They don’t do anything for marketing the players and will sometimes actively tell a college coach your child is not good enough. They advance players who aren’t very good as though they are the next big thing often times leading to that players failure at the next level.

Maybe they tell college coaches your child is not good enough because that’s the truth. The last thing they want is to lose credibility with the college coaches.

You have just described every club we’ve ever been with. Kids soccer clubs are not run by the best people. Not that they are bad people, just that these aren’t people with credentials and experience and resources to run large organizations like in the big business world. Many of the parents work in the business world and expect the same level of competence and white glove service they are used to. It's an unrealistic expectation.

How do clubs like Bethesda or Arlington uphold high standards?
They have been around for decades through the up and downs. You think all that mismanagement would fly in those organizations?

100%. Growing business…Sure…Sure…but not really. “We will supply all the soccer balls for all the teams. No need for kids to bring one”.
That only lasted a year. Struggling to supply practice balls, but you are growing…..Sure…Sure

Wait, are we talking about VDA again?

Anonymous wrote:Yes. Revolution girls side is filthy with this kind of thing. Even once you make a team they won’t integrate well. One family indeed.

Unfortunately the FCV girls are like that. Oh, and parents are like that also.

Also Revolution leadership shares things (player evals, lineups, offers etc) with some parents. And those parents are not shy about boasting about it on the sidelines. Also not shy about trashing other kids on the team. The worst part? The other parents accept this behavior (so long as their kid isn’t in the cross hairs) and go along with it. You’d think successful adults would call someone out for blatant gossip and slander of CHILDREN. Sadly not the case. Avoid this club at all costs.

We must be on the same team. Parents are horrible and they have the audicity to talk about cliquey parents when they are the ones creating circles. Oh and yes, these parents also are the ones that text coaches while others cant even get the coaches to return their phone calls.

Do you have any insight into MLS NEXT AD boys U14 and U15 programs, specifically regarding coaching structure and team roster size?

15 months is what the the former FCV now VR$C scammers last holding the peace together. I dislike the current state of American soccer as a whole but more particularly this cesspool called DMV.

Tell that to the kid who they placed at penn state who didn't make it past the team physical. Credibility? It's a sham. What about all the kids who went to VT and as soon as they started losing, transfer portal

ED is a terrible coach and now CC is showing his true colors without BP around. Cc will be finished within a year or two because he failed. Fell flat on his face.

No real explanation as to why he left mid season from fcv. Did Adam fire him when he was promoted above him?

Note, the vda 2009 team almost all went D1. Vrsc, crickets.

This is obvious on the top girls teams. Many new players being added with zero skill. Promise them a top spot so they come over. I'm glad your numbers are working, but you can't win any competitive games. Enjoy being a third tier club!

On our team, the forwards and midfielders stand around, they are like pylons. Rarely ever do they move around to get open. Hiding behind a defender

hen there's the defender who always passes the ball to the other team. Coach blames another player for the error Same coach for years and same result, no change.

Then the parents of these players have the gumption to gang up on players saying they are bad, when it's their own player who is bad. I guess selfish was and hogging the ball is an art form at vrsc.
