Even if you don't have a family member of child bearing age, blowing up roe screwed over everybody. It is a fundamental reduction of basic rights and it infiltrates and it negatively impacts the women's healthcare environment almost everywhere. |
If you want me to vote on that issue, can you point to any legislation that Biden introduced to codify Roe? Did he not have enough time in is 35 years in the Senate? |
Roe had been settled law. There was no reason to codify it until SCOTUS blew it up last year. He doesn't have votes to blow the filibuster and now doesn't control the House...so when would you have expected this to happen. Further, when do you think it would happen with a GOP in the White House? |
It actually isn't a net zero. Your staying home helps Trump. |
What is your point? Trump will protect our families from this destructive intrusion better? That is utter nonsense. |
My family don't do abortions. Next. |
No, it was not. Even RBG admitted several times that it is a bad law. It was needed to be codified and that is why a lot of people had hopes that either Obama or Biden will do it. |
I am very frustrated with Biden now. They all knew at the time when they pushed Obamacare that it will increase the cost of healthcare for all. Now only Elizabeth Warren (who was my first choice) admits this. Biden still has no guts to admit that it was a disaster.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., "is at long last acknowledging that ObamaCare has increased healthcare prices" and created other unintentional consequences, the Wall Street Journal editorial board wrote Friday. Warren, who has long supported the Affordable Care Act, the official name for ObamaCare, has recently come to an "epiphany" about "industry consolidation and price increases caused by the healthcare law," per The Journal. |
Do they do healthcare because it is negatively impacting that as well. And you might be surprised by how many women have had an abortion or a miscarriage and you don't know about it. Quite possibly a relative but most definitely women you know at work or school or neighbors, or in your congregation, etc., etc. |
The point is that Biden had many chances in his political career to do it right and he failed it. He was given his last chance to do it while a president and he ignored this issue, so it tells me it is not as important to him as to his voters. He failed the entire women electorate. |
Holy clueless. Trump was absolutely critical the destruction of roe and brags on and on about it. You are ignorant if you think Biden is the one that is threat to women and not trump. |
Freedom of religion is supposed to allow me to practice mine, not for you to impose yours on to me. |
What is the better solution, knowing that the system in place prior to the ACA was unsustainable? |
Please stop talking about Roe. RBG screwed us and yet we are stupid enough to lionize her. I just do not understand pop culture. Please explain to me how voting for Biden will change the outcome of the SCOTUs ruling on Roe. They have basically thrown it to the states and if someone desires an abortion they can go to a blue state and get one. Voting for Biden again will not change anything. Biden has the blood of thousands of innocent children on his hands. Please tell me how is he better than Trump? |
Trump's termination of roe is a huge factor in the 2024 election. Can't be overstated. The GOP is so desperate they are having to fund third party candidates to try to siphon off some Biden votes to give trump any prayer at all. Regardless of your dismissal of the issue, it is a looming disaster for Trump's campaign. |
