| It's going to be Sophie. Rebecca specifically mentioned her to Kevin when they walked -- it's going to be her. Nothing will happen at the wedding because she's married (thought this may be where we learn her marriage is in trouble). But they get together in the future. |
Hasn't Rebecca done this twice now? It will be maddening if Kevin and Sophie don't end up together, whether in the near future or later, given all of these meaningful references and the pining! |
That didn't make sense to me either. It would have made much more sense to have her sing at the ceremony and do it early in the day. |
| I liked the fleeting moment of Cassidy dancing with Kevin’s little boy. Cassidy was having a ball, grinning from ear to ear. THAT’S something we have rarely seen from her. She’s been such a sourpuss. It was good to see the character enjoy herself. |

Hopes:
-that Mandy Moore finally gets an Emmy. -that Susan Kelechi Watson gets her own show after this. She totally deserves it, and could easily carry a series of her own. |
I really loved to see both Madison and Cassidy living joyfully. I wanted Madison for Kevin but mostly I just wanted a good life for her. Both Madison and Cassidy deserve to be happy. |
Emphatically agree with both points. |
Word to this. |
Another huge backer of both of these here. Watson has been the best part of every episode for years and Moore is killing it this season. |
Made absolutely no sense not to have her two kids in the photo when they were in the wedding. They should have been in the middle with Kate and Philip! |
Yes, and the ep with Sophie’s mother’s death and the emerald ring. No way that ring doesn’t end up in the picture again. And wasn’t it embedded in a similar story—divorced grandparents who married others but later found their way back to one another? |
I think she is separated at the time of the wedding and that’s what she and Kevin talk about. But she didn’t tell Kate yet. |
I’m assuming Miguel knows her “schedule” which is why he wanted it done that way. |
Not quite that similar but close. They fell in love while divorcing others but were separated due to the Korean(?) war before they could marry. I think Sophie looked at the ring during that episode but wasn’t wearing it. That’s important plus no husband at the wedding probably. |
+1 This series is all about being with the one(s) you love and not wasting the time you have left. Kevin has only truly loved Sophie and vice versa. |
