Constantly rejected and I'm feeling embarrassed. I'm not sure what to do

Is she mixed white and Asian? Black and white? Black and Latina?

What minority group is she trying to date?

I posted a pic similar to what I look/dress like earlier in the thread. I'm black and Latina, but I look like a brown skinned black woman

Do you go for white men? I am mixed (black and white) and NEVER got hit on by white men. Black men hit on me about 20 times a day though.

I date everyone, literally. No discrimination here. I will say that I'm the least attracted to black men. Nothing wrong with them, but I just feel like dating within my culture is too familiar(I don't have much contact with the Hispanic side of my family).
I've dated East African and Caribbean(Dominican) men. And in my humble opinion, black men tend to be more forward in hitting on women.

OP, learn to play golf it's mostly men.

We've now moved on from the sexism to the racist trope portion of the "why can't I find a date thread".

OP, I think the outfit you posted is chic for a daytime or office outfit but could be improved upon for a date. Men want to feel a spark when they first meet you, and it helps if you are wearing something more feminine and form fitting. Will that be outside of your comfort zone? Is it kind of ridiculous that we have to put all this effort into attracting a man? Absolutely! However, we've already established that you are wanting to date and find a relationship so that is the objective, and just remember, you can spend the other 90% of your time wearing your cute typical clothes.

Now, I feel you could definitely move this into the Beauty & Fashion forum because this thread seems to have degraded a bit, through no fault of your own, but it often happens on DCUM. I suggest buying 2 date outfits, one for casual and one for dressy, and just repeatedly wearing them on first dates. You can buy some more tops and such later when you need them. Having a go-to uniform will help you feel more comfortable and confident in these new types of clothes and hopefully help in your dating efforts.

Here is what I would recommend, and I'll provide a few links, but let us know what colors, price point, and such you prefer:

Thank you for the suggestions! Not a fan of the dresses, but I guess I need to step out of my comfort zone to get what I want.

DP. Good luck, OP. I think that was worth 11 pages of discussion to get there.

Update us on how it goes.
